It's the last live OLR of 2017, and despite some very typical OLR-tangents at the top of the show, we do get into gaming to take a moment and celebrate 30 years of Mega Man by reflecting on some of our favorite moments in the series. Then we talk about the game that's been everywhere this year- Player Unknown BattleGrounds! Is this a game that's getting ripped off too much? The creator has called for better IP protection, but can anything be done? We discuss live with our listeners.

We spend a minute to talk about the importance of maintaining Net Neutrality, so please visit www.battleforthenet.com for more information. Then we get into chat about the week in games, including the launch of a new Animal Crossing game, on mobile platforms. What are our opinions on this new Animal Crossing game? Does it satisfy the lack of a new Animal Crossing game in several years, or does it leave us wanting something more on Nintendo Switch? We give our feedback and invite our live listeners to do the same.

Lootboxes remain one of the biggest controversies in gaming, as it blew up in a big way with Star Wars Battlefront II over this past week. We dive into this topic tonight and explore this issue in games, and if we think it is something that will go away anytime soon, or if it is here to stay. Then we get into our gaming weeks, and "celebrate" the music gaming milestone that falls on the weekend of our show.

Although we've had this topic before, we visit it again to see if feelings have changed, and if we agree with what these companies are saying, or not. We get into some comments on this topic from not just our live chatters, but our VOGNetwork Discord server as well.

Loot boxes seem to be all the rage in gaming right now, with them showing up not only in mobile games we've played before, but in popular games like Overwatch and now recent releases like Shadow of War. How do we feel about Loot boxes, and who do we think is doing them right and maybe not so right? Of course, some people on the internet have taken some of the loot boxes into their own hands as one recent release has infinite loot boxes spawned. We cover this and the weeks news on another episode of the show where EVERY gamer has a voice - Orange Lounge Radio!
