How did we feel about the conference and how it compares to E3? We discuss live with our chatters, then get into other news of the week which includes a heated debate between the creators of Fortnite and PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds. After some celebration we dive right into the gaming news for the week, which includes the latest Nintendo Direct that took place. Were we surprised and satisfied with announcements like Minecraft for New 3DS out now, and Bethesda games like Doom and Wolfenstein 2 coming out soon? Or did it seem like there was still much to be desired, especially around Virtual Console? We discuss along with our LIVE listeners.

We are back after a week off while Rob was at DragonCon, and we start by recapping the news from the week we were gone, including news of Miiverse coming to an end. Is this Nintendo social network gone too soon, or was it something that needed to go? We discuss this as well as controversial DRM for Sonic Mania that made it's way onto the Steam release... which of course was hacked within 8 days. You know what they say, #hackersgonnahack. This isn't the only controversy on a week full of hot topics. Join us for this and more on another week of the show where every gamer has a voice!

Preorders for the SNES Classic left many people frustrated this week. Who is ultimatley to blame for all this frustration? We try to figure out how this can be prevented in the future-- if it can be at all. Then after our gaming weeks, we get into gaming news for the week including similar pre-orders for the Xbox One X, which one e-mailer messages us about. Also, it sounds like data transfer for existing Xbox One owners to the X will be pretty easy, but you might still want to set aside a little time.

It's Gamescom week, and Microsoft kicked things off today with an event to push the Xbox One X. They must be doing something right, as preorders for the "Project Scorpio" bundle sell out before our show is even on the air. How do our hosts and live chatters feel about Microsoft's place in the video game marketplace right now? We discuss, then get into our news for the week which includes late breaking news about a Playstation "hack" ... but should we be that worried? (Hint: It really helps to have Two Factor Auth enabled!)

Some major updates have hit No Man's Sky in an update released this week. What do we think at this point? Should more people give this game a chance? Should those that originally bought the game take a second look? Or was this a wasted effort when Hello Games should just move on to something else? We discuss our thoughts on tonight's program about this surprise new update. We also catch up on our gaming weeks from our unplanned hiatus, and cover more gaming news.

While San Diego Comic Con was happening, Pokemon Go Fest happened over the weekend in Chicago! The media is reporting a lot of issues with the event, but what was it really like on the ground? Our special guest Charles from the Pokemon Go Podcast gives us a report on what happened at the event. How did the event compare to the local play of catching legendaries though? What will the issues from this event possibly mean for the future of Niantic? We discuss. There's much more than Pokemon in the news this week however, as Atari is planning to launch an all new console. However, is this something we are getting excited about? Or this this too similar to ANOTHER atari retro product?

Of course we still have news to get into this week, including many stories about Virtual Reality! From price cuts to programming help, could this be the year that we really see VR ramping up?
