When a butterfly flies too close to the sun, their buttery wings will melt. At least, they will if the Guild of Calamitous Intent sets you up. The Monarch is on trial for killing a cop, even though nobody can remember the night of the crime itself. This episode establishes a lot of things that will come to be important over the next season, by filling out Dr. Girlfriend's past and giving Phantom Limb a more prominent role in the goings-on.
