In this episode we continue our discussion about a person’s Triple Constitution by examining our third hypostases – the Spirit or Mind.  The activity of Mind or Spirit is generally easier to distinguish than that of the Emotional nature or Soul, but again we often have only a vague understanding of the Spirit’s true place and role in the correct functioning of our being.  This podcast clarifies some of these issues and show how the Spirit can act to bring about greater balance in our lives.

The Spirit is a faculty that allows us to have thoughts.
Our Mind is an internal state that directs our thinking.

In this podcast we chat about our physical Body, our Soul or Psyche, and our Spirit or Mind. Or we can say: what we sense, what we 'feel' and what we think. We can also say 'our Emotional or Psychic nature' for the Soul, and 'our Mental nature' for the Spirit. Our aim is to distinguish between these three underlying states so that we can begin the work of self-transformation and liberation. The essential start point is that we observe how we act, feel and think - in all our daily activities. After that we can start to ask 'why' we automatically act, feel and think in a particular way. And if we want to, we can change our 'automatic' or habitual response.
