Way back in the beginning, God created the heavens and earth and the beginning chapters of the Bible are filled with descriptions of His handiwork in the world around us. This act of upholding the universe is not one that is without compassion for God cares about His creatures and especially His children. The climax of Scripture centers on the person and work of Jesus Christ. It was Christ’s payment for our sin that made it possible for all who believe to become the sons of God.
