      • Why Systems & Process Are Vital To The Trucking Industry // Adam Wingfield

In this episode, I’m talking with Adam Wingfield. This episode is all about building systems, process, and handling compliance issues with small carriers in the trucking industry.

If you don't know much about the trucking industry, you will learn their business model, their greatest challenges, and you'll get to see some interesting tips about efficiency that you can apply really to any industry.

Adam's a member of our Process People community. He's a Trainual certified consultant based out in Charlotte, North Carolina, and he's been in the trucking industry for 22 years. He's the founder and managing director of Innovative Logistics Group, which is a trucking consulting and carrier services firm. He also co-founded a company called InnoPortal, a trucking dispatch system, which in just the last two years has done over $80 million in transactions. So, Adam knows his stuff.

What I liked about this episode, is just really digging into a different industry that maybe you're not so aware of. He talks about the success rate and the failure rate of how many businesses are getting started in this industry. And we go all the way into these autonomous vehicles and some of the future changes that will impact this industry in the future. So as you listen to this, I want you to think about your industry and how these nuggets can apply to what you are doing.

      • How SMBs Should Approach Their Talent Acquisition // Adam Posner

In this episode, I’m talking with Adam Posner. This episode is all about talent acquisition and recruiting in today's hiring landscape.

Adam is the founder and president at NHP Talent Group, a boutique New York based talent consultancy. He specializes in talent for senior level type roles within digital marketing, media, eCommerce product, and content creation at startups, and different agencies or brands. He's also the host of a top global career podcast, The Pozcast.

This episode was interesting because from a recruiter standpoint, we got to hear what motivates employees, why they would want to leave one company when he talks to them and join another one. What the matchmaking process is behind the scenes and some of the questions that Adam uses to get to the center of that.
