Andre Govier is working towards two things.

Combating illiteracy.

And combating Rett Syndrome.

Starting his literary career he was very conscious that many people find big complicated books a challenge

So he decided to write short first-person narratives. His target audience was teens and young adults but he has found people in the 30 – 50 enjoy his stories also.

He intends to publish two more additions in the series before Christmas

After a hiatus for an important personal project.

During Summer 2017, however, he is working on a book for Charity. All profits of which will go to “Living Like Livvy,” a project that supports 'Reverse Rett.'

For more information on the subject of his book, Olivia Georgia Meredith head to http://www.livvyssmile.co.uk/

On this episode of Mirage Varla Ventura and I discuss Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley an English novelist, short story writer, dramatist, essayist, biographer, and travel writer, best known for her Gothic novel Frankenstein: or, The Modern Prometheus.

***

Varla Ventura doesn't just have the best name in writing, she is also a scholar of the occult, paranormal., and dream theorist. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, and she has written six books with a seventh on the way each about spooky stuff, but that doesn't mean we just talked ghosts fairies and vampires.

No, we spoke about writing, about being passionate, about working hard and doing what it takes to succeed.

But well yes we did end up speaking at length about Samuel Clemens communicating his last novel from the grave.

I WANT TO BELIEVE!

Freaking fascinating story from a wonderful guest!

Chris Herron almost went blind. A burst blood blood vessel and his life change overnight. He lost the ability to read, fend for himself, care for himself basically he was living a nightmare. It ended, he is defintely thankful for that, he regained most of his sight, but he also found a renewed appreciation for audio books. They kept him alive and gave him hope during his ordeal.

Now he wants to give them away to anyone who wants them.

He wants to to introduce the world to new authors.

He wants to give his talents to indie writers so that their stories can be told. To people who maybe wouldn't normally be able to read them.

Chris is a is a voice actor.

Christianity is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion that can be found intertwined in many written works of speculative fiction.

On this episodes of Mirage I speak with J.E. Purrazzi , a young Earth missionary kid and sci fi author and geek out over sci fi.

We pull back some layers to get at the religious undertones concealed within.
