In a move that had been speculated about after initial reporting a few months back, Baltimore Orioles owner John Angelos has reportedly agreed to sell the club to Carlyle Group's David Rubenstein, as well as Mike Arougheti of Ares Management Corp. Per Puck News' John Ourand, the Baltimore native Rubenstein will serve as what MLB refers to as the "control person," effectively majority owner. Without much more than that to go off of, Jake and RDT hop into the studio to give their live reactions to this news, including all it could mean for a young ascending ballclub that could use an infusion of cash, and some stability at the top of the organization. Thanks as always for listening, and we'll be back with more on this (and a lot of other stuff) very soon.
