The Exit 52 Podcast

While there's still a bit of winter left to get through, better weather and baseball season are right around the corner. What better way to celebrate that than with a special episode where we're joined by rising star second baseman for the Baltimore Orioles, Jackson Holliday? Jake and Eric sit down with Jackson to look back on the last few years of his major league career, including a very difficult start for him personally, and how he mentally balanced his own improvements vs. the team's struggles in 2025. Jackson also dishes on his excitement for 2026, including developing his relationship with new manager Craig Albernaz, his excitement to have Pete Alonso join the team (and their hilarious first text exchange), and much more. Thanks as always for tuning in, and we'll be back at you very soon!

It's been a whirlwind last week here in Baltimore, and when the Ravens are in crisis mode, you can count on Steve Bisciotti to get in front of the mic, and calm the mood. He did just that today, joining Eric DeCosta at the podium, and the Baltimore media for his first press conference in three years. Bisciotti and DeCosta spoke in detail about the firing of John Harbaugh, the current state and future of this franchise, and everything that will go into getting this team back to where it belongs. Jake and Spenny are here to break it all down, as well as review all the candidate s currently in the discussion to take over as this teams head coach. Thanks as always for tuning in, and we'll be back at you very soon!

The New Year has come and gone, football season has ended in Baltimore, and Jake and Eric are back to talk some Orioles as we inch closer to pitchers and catchers reporting next month. The guys discuss some of the recent moves made to bolster the Orioles' pitching staff, namely the Shane Baz trade, as well as the re-signing of Zach Eflin to a one year, $10 million dollar deal. The guys discuss what the next big move could be (if there is one made), such as the rumored signing of on of Ranger Suarez, or Framber Valdez. They also go over some of arbitration deals that were reached (as well as the two that weren't) ahead of the deadline to send a potential agreement to a hearing. Finally, the grab bag is opened up to discuss some light topics like the upcoming Birdland Caravan schedule, and some fun additions to the giveaway schedule. Thanks as always for tuning in, and we'll be back at you very soon!

In their most hyped regular season matchup in years, the Ravens squared off against the Steelers with the AFC North on the line... and came a kick away from taking the division. In a fitting end to a maddening 2025 season, Tyler Loop's wide right miss erased a mostly admirable performance by Baltimore's defense, and an insane fourth quarter from Lamar Jackson and company. We get into all of tonight's drama, say goodbye to a season that's mercifully come to an end, and look ahead to what's next from Owings Mills this offseason. Thanks as always for tuning in, and we'll be back at you very soon.

With their season on the line, the Ravens needed a win in Green Bay, and they responded by going out and getting perhaps their most comprehensive one of 2025. Tyler Huntley was on time all night, Derrick Henry ran for 216 yards and four touchdowns, and while the defense did what they do at times (bad things) they forced a few critical turnovers that helped proved the difference in this game. The guys are here to go over a very fun win that in 24 hours could prove inconsequential in the grand scheme of things - but with that in mind, try to enjoy this one even more as a potential fun capstone to an otherwise difficult 2025. Thanks as always for tuning in, and we'll be back at you very soon!
