Joshua 1:10-18

As the Israelites prepare to enter the promised land, Joshua's first concern is for unity of the nation as they prepare for war.

The unity of God's people has always been at the core of His plan. In this passage we see....

1. The call for unity

2. The foundation of unity

3. The fruit of unity

Joshua 1:1-9

Joshua is stepping into the shoes of the legendary Moses and called

to lead the Israelites across the Jordan River and into the promised

land which, oh yeah, is occupied by foreign peoples. God's command is to be strong and courageous and God gives Joshua and us four truths we need to know to embrace the calling He has on our life.

1. God has a plan

2. God always keeps His promises

3. God will guide us in His Word

4. God will be with us

Matthew 7:13-27

As Jesus wraps up this sermon, he is wanting us to choose

between two paths. He could not be more clear in his earnest

desire for us to choose and to choose well. The right choice

will include....

1. The right gate

2. The right teacher

3. The right relationship

4.The right foundation

Matthew 7:7-11

In this passage Jesus is challenging us out of a mundane

relationship with God in prayer to a bold one. He does this

by challenging how it is that we ask for things. In this

passage, Jesus tells us...

1. How we should ask

2. What we should ask for

3.Who it is that we are asking

Matthew 27:62-28:10

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the hinge of the

Christian hope. Our entire faith hangs on this truth.

Let's look at this story with fresh eyes and see....

1. The fear of the resurrection

2. The announcement of the resurrection

3. The call of the resurrection

Acts 2:38-47

The early New Testament church was a portrait of God's grace

that we can experience today, characterized by.....

A. The Salvation they experienced

B. Devotion to Jesus and each other

C. The Compassion they showed to the Body of Christ and to

the world

D. The Impression they made on the world

Matthew 7:1-6

Jesus' command to not judge isn't a call to suspend all our

discernment and criticism, but a call to suspend all our self-

righteousness.

1. The competence of self-righteousness

2. The cure to self-righteousness

Matthew 6:25-34

Jesus is commanding us to do something that is not only incredibly hard, but can seem totally out of our control: do not be anxious.

1. Defining Anxiety

2. Hope in our anxiety

Matthew 6:19-24

In the gospels, Jesus talks more about money than any other topic.

Our view of our money and possessions saya a lot about our hearts.

In this passage, Jesus tells us.....

1. How we should handle money

2. Why we don't handle money the way we should

3. How we can handle money the way we should
