Genesis 26:1-11 & Matthew 7:24-27

The blessed life, God's ideal, requires grasping the truth that God preserves blessings from generation to generation.

1) Life is hard, it requires faith (v.1)

2) God is faithful in keeping promises (v.2-4)

3) Obedience is essential in observing laws (v.5)

4) Tests will come creating fear (v.6-7)

5) Saints do fail, mocking faith (v.8-10)

6) Providence is a guarantee to protect blessing (v.11)

Jesus transforms spiritually "slow" hearts into deeply burning ones by revealing His resurrection glory.

Three important things that contribute to the revealing of Jesus Christ:

1. Seek His presence (28-31)

2. Hear His word (30-32)

3. Share His message (33-35)
