In Hebrews 11:33-40; 12:1-2, the apostle Paul shows that the people of God prior to the incarnation lived by faith and looked forward to the coming Messiah. In the same way, those of us who are part of the Church, look backward to the coming of the Messiah. But both of these people are called to live by faith and be holy.

In Acts 2:1-11, we read that God sent the Holy Spirit to indwell his apostles to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to all men. The confusion of languages at the Tower of Babel is undone here and the apostolic faith goes out to all men.

In Acts 11:19-30, Luke explains how the gospel that Jesus Christ brought in his ministry, death and resurrection is not for Jews alone, but for all men, regardless of race or ethnicity. Christianity is about being part of the one body of Christ, the church, as given by Jesus Christ through the apostles.

In Acts 9:32-42, Luke tells the account of the healing of a man paralyzed and the resurrection of a young woman. In both cases, God moves with no distinction or favoritism. With the resurrection of Jesus Christ, eternal life has been given to all. The Jew/Gentile distinction is gone.
