I met Heather Clark at the 2020 Irreverent Warriors Nashville Hike on September 11th. She is a Navy Veteran. It was early morning after the event at The Boondox and Heather was offering a yoga class for Veterans.

While I didn't exactly get my Namaste on I could see that there were benefits to what Heather was teaching. I say benefits because these were yoga poses based on drills I done with firearms training in and out of the Marine Corps.

I was hooked.

Since then Heather has been Oscar Mike. She is starting her own company and is working to make yoga more accessible to veterans. She hosts the 7 Echo Podcast on YouTube and has many other things in the works.

You can see Heather perform with Chris Turner (www.christurnermusic.com) at The Boondox February 12th 2021 for the Hearts for Warriors Event. Yoga was just the start and I can't wait to see what she does next!

I am thankful for my sponsors Joyce Asack of Asack Real Estate (http://www.asackrealestate.com/) and Mark Holmes of Reaper Detailing and Powerwashing (https://www.facebook.com/reapersdetailing/) for their support of America's Military and Veterans. When people think coaching, they often think of sports or athletic coaching. Especially when "High Performance" is used as the coaching nomenclature.

Judy Skilling was a Navy Corpsman, and after leaving the Navy discovered that helping people gave her a sense of purpose that she couldn't get in other career fields.

She found that the principles in the High Performance Coaching Platform could help people attain their personal and professional goals.

Like Heather Hargrove, I found that Judy takes a proactive approach to identifying her client's needs and giving them the tools for lifelong success. If you are stuck in the proverbial rut personally and professionally go to www.judyskilling.com to learn more.

I can't wait to have Judy back on Oscar Mike Radio. We just barely scratched the surface of the High Performance Coaching Platform. Thank you Judy!

January 16th Tarrish Potter will be performing at The Boondox (https://the-boondox.business.site/) in Columbia, TN to support the launch of L United.

Tarrish has literally been performing all her life. Whether with her family or being a child actor, Tarrish's experiences eventually led her out to Nashville.

Connecting her music to someone listening is one of the most rewarding aspects of being artist Tarrish told me.

When I asked her about family connections to the military, there was a look of pride when she told me about her family's service across generations. Tarrish is honored to use her music to support those who have served.

Despite all the challenges that came from COVID-19, she is looking forward to songwriting, recording, touring in 2021.

I have enjoyed getting to talk to all the country music artists that are supporting L United. Thanks for coming on Oscar Mike Radio.

I met Chris at the Irreverent Warriors - Tennessee fundraiser at The Boondox in September 2020. He put on a high energy show that the raised the roof!

L United is bringing hockey to Veterans and children in the Nashville, TN region. This organization is taking a unique approach to hockey for children and Veteran's Advocacy.

Chris Turner started playing music in the Marine Corps. Music became a passion and he moved to Nashville to start his country music career. Like the other artists who are supporting this event, being able to perform is life itself. Especially when it is for a cause like L United.

The last 12 months have been rough and 2021 is starting off with a bang. What do active duty military transitioning into civilian life and Veterans do? We prepare, we organize and support each other. It is just that simple.

There is no other way to be successful during this time than continuing to each other's advocate.

Support Veteran Owned Businesses and give an assist to those who are re-entering the civilian workforce. We are stronger together.

Proud to wear the Semper Savage (www.sempersavage.com) shirt, "Rough Men Stand Ready". Let's all be ready
