Kevin "Kev" Breen is my first foreign military guest on Oscar Mike Radio. Kev served in the U.K. Army for 15 years in the Royal Corps of Signals before transitioning to civilian life.

After his transition, he joined Immersive Labs. Immersive Labs offers interactive, goal based Cybersecurity training. This is needed because Cybersecurity is a job field that is woefully understaffed.

From day one Immersive Labs has been offering their cybersecurity education platform free of charge to Veterans who served the United Kingdom.

Learning about Kev's transition and seeing the Immersive Labs product in action was a great way to celebrate Remembrance/Veterans Day.

If you are a U.K. Veteran, you can go to https://vets.immersivelabs.online/register or https://techvets.co/ to sign up.

I want to thank Kev for his service and continuing advocacy for Veterans. Cheers

Like Heather Hargrove, I met Travis Arnold during James van Prooyen's Veterans Happy Hour.

Travis is an Army National Guard Veteran and started Caisson Shaving Company earlier this year. He got the idea from his time in the service when he had to dry shave. So the idea for Caisson Shaving Company was born. Using shaving soap, and a lather brush, Travis wants people to enjoy shaving and slow down a bit during the morning.

I ordered the "Fire for Effect" Soap and liked the experience. It didn't take much longer to shave and my head loves the way my blade glides over the dome.

Travis shared some of his experiences starting a business during COVID-19. He would encourage anyone to start now to build their business even during this time.

You can check out all of Travis' offering by going to https://caisson-shaving.com/. If you are looking for a great Christmas present for the man in your life, be sure to look at "The Anti - Subscription Shaving Kit". $80.00 gets you a complete kit that will last a year.

I am looking forward to seeing what happens when Travis launches on Amazon. Thanks again for talking with me, I look forward to your success!

I met Heather through James Van Prooyen’s Veterans Business Hour. Heather is a U.S. Army Veteran and now does business coaching. Business coaching from Heather’s point of view is identifying what you want to do with your business and executing on that vision. That is done through Automation, Accountability, and Action Steps. These all roll […]

Business coaching from Heather's point of view is identifying what you want to do with your business and executing on that vision. That is done through Automation, Accountability, and Action Steps. These all roll into something Heather calls the Digital Warrior Movement.

This is part four of a five part series on Irreverent Warriors in Tennessee. I had the pleasure of speaking with Marine Corps Veteran Jesse Hawe.

Jesse has been hard at work for the Knoxville Hike and feels that the work Irreverent Warriors does is needed now more than ever with the effects COVID-19 is having on the Veterans Community.

There is still time to sign up. Go to irreverentwarriors.com and find the Knoxville Hike. Thank you Jesse, can't wait to see the hike photos!

I met US Air Force Retired Veteran James Van Prooyen a couple of years ago. We didn’t really connect until this year when James asked me to sit on his Veterans Business Hour that he hosts. I met US Air Force Retired Veteran James Van Prooyen a couple of years ago. We didn't really connect until this year when James asked me to sit on his Veterans Business Hour that he hosts.

I started learning about other Veterans who are starting their own businesses. James kept talking about the need to be stronger together. The way to get stronger together is to support Veterans in business from the moment an idea is formed in a entrepreneur's mind to when the product is sold.

When I started really listening to what that meant and saw it work for Veterans who are starting their own business, it started changing the way I approached doing Oscar Mike Radio.

Talking with James can show you how his experiences can help you if you are starting your own business or facing challenges like the ones presented by COVID-19. We can be Stronger Together. Thank you James

This is Part Three of a Five Part series about Irreverent Warriors in Tennessee. Part One was with Bobbi Smith – Taylor from Chattanooga, and Part Two was with Zack Jenkins from Nashville, Tennessee. I met Nick Sawall earlier this year in a short trip to Nashville. In talking with Nick, he told how me […]
