So as you may have noticed, we were at a con recently. That con being MTAC Lunar, a fine lead in to next years already better MTAC Score. Because, you know...
Sports anime theme.
But as you may now realize, a fresh new con trip now can sometimes include a fresh new episode from our new format, Moments of TN OSM. That's right, we got the Tennessee crew in to talk about all... sorts... of... things. Look, just skip down to the Time Cues.
Here are said Time Cues (I was told by our editor that these must not be edited in any way, so they are not... mostly):
Special Shout Out To Co-Audio Producer on all of the MTAC 2019 Episodes: Mike! @ViNull
Hi everybody! It's time for our second installment of the MTAC Lunar podcast trilogy! We had the opportunity to chat with the amazing Sarah Anne Williams!
She has done a bunch of voice-over roles over the past eight years for both anime and video games. Some of those include Sayaka Miki in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Nonon Jakuzure in Kill la Kill, Jack Frost in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, Chihaya Mifune in Persona 5, Chiara Rocino / Lily in Valkyria Chronicles 4, and a whole bunch more!
Thank you so much to both MTAC as well as Sarah for sitting down with us! It was a blast. Also thanks goes out to Charlie Grace for giving us that extra spice to liven things up!
OK sure, MTAC Lunar just wrapped up, but we could not wait to get you this episode! We got the chance to sit down and chat with both Martin Billany AND Marianne Miller, it was such a delight. Martin is better known online as "LittleKuriboh," the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh The Abridged Series. Marianne is better known as... Marianne! But she is also the voice of many a wonderful character, like Amanda O'Neill from Little Witch Academia, or Mossan from FLCL Alternative!
We chat about all sorts of topics, like Star Wars, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, wrestling, how to try to be better people, Final Fantasy XIV, just all kinds of things.
Here's a bunch of places you can find Martin and Marianne:
Once again, big ol' thanks to both Martin Billany and Marianne Miller for chatting with us, andto MTAC for hosting us all! It was a great con to attend, and we aren't done with MTAC content yet! We'll see you all soon~
Happy Monday, everybody! Let's kick off the week with something wholesome. And you can't spell "wholesome" without "Mob Psycho 100," the anime by Bones adapted from the manga by ONE. OK you probably can spell wholesome without Mob... But you should really give it a try. We'll tell you why!
MTAC is so close! Like, it starts this week close! And while we don't have any panels this time, we'll be doing out best to get some sweet interviews on the books for your listening enjoyment. Until then, have some of that latest dance craze that is sweeping the nation, Time Cues:
So for the past few years, out wonderful editor Anna had a mission. Every time we had to tell her to edit something out... She saved them. Then put them to music. This is that hot dope lit track.
So this episode is more of a KEVINcast, really. But that's OK, because we are talking about one of his favorite shows from last year! And that show is the revival of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, developed by Noelle Stevenson and produced by DreamWorks Animation Television and Netflix.
But don't worry, we have some manga talk, video game chatter, and even about how good dogs! Spoiler alert, dogs are very good.
OSMnotes
Watch She-Ra and the Princesses of Power! Its good! But in the meantime, have some Time Cues:
So, back in 2012 (?!), Basil once told Kevin that he really needed to go to an interview with Richard Epcar. And Kevin did, and a wonderful time was had. Well, John was also there in 2012. And since he had the chance to interview Richard Epcar again, John leapt at the chance. That was at Momocon 2018, and this is that podcast.
Also in case you were wondering whom Richard Epcar is, he's a lot. Of voices, I mean. He has done a bunch of them! Lately you'd recognize his vocal talents bringing to life Ansem, from the Kingdom Hearts series. There was like, three of those game? So anyway, he has also voiced Raiden from the latest Mortal Kombat series of games, Joseph Joestar from the Jojo's that everyone (rightly) loves, Batou in all the Ghosts in the Shells that matter, and just whole lot of things. There is a very high chance that he done something you love, and he may just be the reason why!
Sometimes, you just gotta keep talking about cartoons. When we last left Rebecca Sugar’s and Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe, there was one season. Now... there is the rest of the show, made up of multiple seasons! So we decided to catch up and talk about our favorite moments from the show, and more.
So wow, that was a show! And now we can only wait for the movie. You know, the Steven Universe one. There will be no OSMcast movie. There are however, Time Cues:
This time, our interview is uh... intergalactic! And uh, spectacular! Legendary? Is that a thing? Well, the thing is that this is an interview with Josh Keaton! He has done a bunch of cool voice-over roles like Shiro in Voltron: Legendary Defender! Or Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man, or if you would rather someone more potentially villainous, Norman Osborn in Marvel's Spider-Man! And if you really wished he voiced a guy named Jack, oh hey! He was Jack Darby in Transformers: Prime.
In this week's episode, we take a trip back in time, to 2018's Middle Tennessee Anime Convention, where our own John Robbins got to chat with both Yuri Lowenthal along with Tara Platt. (It was also where a certain Yuri and may have tweeted a certain awesome thing about John.)
Both Yuri and Tara are super prolific Voice-Over Artists. Yuri has been in things like Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Dead or Alive, Naruto, Personas both 3 AND 4, and most recently he was the voice of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the new Spider-Manvideo game by Insomniac.
Tara was also in both Persona 3 and Naruto, along with a bevy of those things! She has been new dub of Sailor Moon, Aggretsuko, Fire Emblem: Awakening, League of Legends, and was also the voice of Yuri Watanabe in, you guessed it, Insomniac's Spider-Man.
