Also heard in this episode was the song, Flashbacks, by Alma Mater.

https://almamaterpa.bandcamp.com/ https://www.facebook.com/AlmaMaterBandPA/

They are a local alternative punk/rock band from the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area of Pennsylvania. They’ve given me permission to play the full track of Flashbacks at the end of the credits. If you enjoy it, head to bandcamp.com to listen to their other work. I found their music long after my story was written, but it fit like a glove.

Earlier this summer, Team Ostium had the chance to sit down and have a nice long chat. You’ll get to hear from Georgia Mckenzie, who performs the character Monica, Chris Fletcher who performs the character Jake, and myself, Alex C. Telander. I write and produce the show, and also do the voice of Dave/Steve. In the second part of this special Behind the Ostium, we have a full on Q&A session, as we attempt to answer fan questions, as well some tricky ones I came up with to try and stump them.

If you enjoy this chat, you should really consider becoming a patron of Ostium. For just $2 a month, you can get access to the entire Behind the Ostium series. We cover all of season one, as Duane and I talk about each episode, and right now we’re working through our World Building series. You’ll also get access to all the Ostium Files, with news ones coming, outtakes, and lots more. Plus, by supporting Ostium you’ll help fund the show and help pay our actors. You can find all this and more at patreon.com/ostiumpodcast.

Whether it’s big corporations, small towns, entire countries, or indigenous groups affected. It’s across the entire globe, and we’re all involved. But there are times where it feels there’s only so little we can do. We recycle as much as we can. We pay attention to where we shop and buy what we need. But ultimately, we end up feeling pretty helpless. Every day now there’s something on the news about climate change. If you sign up for Arcadia Power, you can feel good knowing that 100% of the energy being supplied to your home - whether you rent or own - is being supplied by clean, renewable sources.  I was using PG&E before and thought it was going to be a hassle to switch. It wasn’t; it was so easy. I even got to pick what type of renewable energy I wanted. I went with wind power and each month I get to see a graph with a breakdown of my renewable energy usage and my “clean impact.” All the information you need is at arcadiapower.com/ostium-podcast.
