Rachel Becker spent the first four years of her college softball career playing shortstop for Purdue. While there, she set the school record for career runs and earned All-America honors. She decided to transfer to Oklahoma State for her Covid season and compete with veteran Kiley Naomi for her position. Becker ended up earning the start at second base. It was a move she was happy to make and a challenge she easily accepted. She’s been an integral part of the Cowgirls defense. However, she will tell you her biggest impact is made at the plate. Becker only has a handful of games left as a college player. She plans on continuing her softball career in the Women’s Professional Fast Pitch league – where she was as second round draft pick back in April. Before she focuses on the pros, she has one more thing she hopes to accomplish.

Show’s competitiveness took some getting used to. It’s also what earned her the title of captain. Coach Gajewski was very upfront with Samantha Show when committed to the Cowgirls. He might not be able to make her a better player. He would make her a better person. A promise Show believes he kept. 

Former Oklahoma State golfer Talor Gooch is one of the hottest players on the LIV Tour, winning the last two tournaments in Australia and Singapore. Nolan Schubart was supposed to be a Michigan Wolverine. However, a coaching change in Ann Arbor left Schubart searching for new home just two months before the start of his freshman year. Great recruiting by Matt and Jackson Holliday led the outfielder to Stillwater. Two days after seeking advice from the Hollidays, Schubart and his family made the 15-hour drive from Michigan to Oklahoma State for an official visit. His parents knew within the first 10 minutes on campus this is where he would end up. Schubart has made an immediate impact for Cowboys, and with only a few games left in the regular season, he believes the team's best baseball is still to come.

Maddy Hinson-Tolchard committed to Oklahoma State in November 2019 – one month after graduating high school in Perth, Australia. But she didn’t arrive on campus until January 2021. Hinson-Tolchard used those six extra months at home taking online courses at OSU and adjusting to the American school system. Even with Australia’s strict lockdown in effect, she was able to keep her golf game sharp by playing with her family.  Now a junior, college life has become what she expected when she first decided to come to the United States. She believes the challenges of her freshman season helped her grow as a person and a golfer. Fresh off a Big 12 Championship team and individual win, she’s hoping to ride that momentum to a national title.
