Nolan Schubart was supposed to be a Michigan Wolverine. However, a coaching change in Ann Arbor left Schubart searching for new home just two months before the start of his freshman year. Great recruiting by Matt and Jackson Holliday led the outfielder to Stillwater. Two days after seeking advice from the Hollidays, Schubart and his family made the 15-hour drive from Michigan to Oklahoma State for an official visit. His parents knew within the first 10 minutes on campus this is where he would end up. Schubart has made an immediate impact for Cowboys, and with only a few games left in the regular season, he believes the team's best baseball is still to come.
