Otaku Summit

This episode of Otaku Summit, The Summit talks about what they have been up to and Chaos explains why they missed last week's episode. In the anime news section, They talk about the Demon Slayer movie announcement, Psycho-Pass Season 3 trailer and their hopes for the upcoming season. Jojo, Steve, and Chaos answer some Otaku questions that include: "What are some of our favorite weapons in anime?" and the other question is "What is our opinion on the gatekeeper weebs vs the casual anime fans?". 

The anime reviews start off with Fire Force episode 11 (28:44), They talk about how it was cool seeing how Company 8 was started but wanted better from the episode. Next on the list is Dr. Stone episodes 12 & 13 (36:50), This anime has some ups and downs but it has recently kept up on keeping the guy's interest. The guys talk about Vinland Saga episodes 11 & 12 (52:30), The anime continues to be one of the brutal anime out. Lastly, Demon Slayer episodes 25 & 26 (63:30), They talk about how they have enjoyed season 1 of the anime and are excited about the movie and season 2 of Demon Slayer. 

On This Episode of Otaku Summit, The boys talk about what they have been doing on their break from the podcast. They get into some anime news and talk about Fate Grand Order trailer. The Summit answers some Otaku Questions like "Which manga deserves an anime?" and "What's your favorite 12 episode anime?".

There is a lot to talk about in the anime review section starting off with Fire Force episode 9 & 10 (32:51), The anime has some problems but continues to shine. Summit reviews Demon Slayer episode 23 and 24 (50:18) Tanjirou trains to become the very best Demon slayer. Dr. Stone episodes 10 and 11 are some off the funniest moments in the anime so far (61:20). Lastly, The guys talk about Vinland Saga episodes 9 and 10 (71:40), Some of the craziest action scenes and we feel for the main character in these episodes. On This Episode of Otaku Summit, The Summit talks a bunch of anime news in the beginning that include Shield Hero getting the green light on 2 more seasons. There was some news about the horror manga called Uzumaki will be getting an anime and people are hyped and Once Piece writer reveals when he wants to finish the manga. The summit also talks about the Dragon Ball audio leaks that happen the past week and how they feel toward the backlash.

The summit talks a little bit about some of the best music in anime and what were their favorite anime openings and outros. The anime reviews starts with Demon Slayer episode 22 (@ 39:24), Tanjirou meets up with the swag squad and Nezuko is already getting hated on. The second reviews is Fire Force episode 8 (@ 51:30), Shinra tries to find out who is turning people to infernal and someone gets beat down. The Summit reviews episode 9 of Dr Stone (@ 73:00), Senku and the gang get introduced to a new character and they begin to have power in the world. Last review is Vinland Saga episode 8 (@ 83:50), Thorfinn is fed up with the savage life and just wants out. We know we said we were missing this week but things got delayed so we wont be here for next week, I swear! Thank you for the support like always!

On this episode of Otaku Summit, They talk about what they have been up to and thinking about with this whole Spider-Man situation. The Summit gets into some Otaku questions that includes, "If there was a bleach fighting game like DB Fighters do you think it will make an anime comeback?" they try to answer it with some other anime that could work. The guys also shoot off some rapid fire anime questions to each other and things get a little spicy with some of the answers.

The first anime review is Demon Slayer episode 21 (@ 25:40), The summit talks about how Tanjirou needs to develop and stop being so soft towards demons. Then the guys talk about Fire Force episode 7 (@ 39:30), The show is going toward the answers that we need and showing us some weird scenes along the way. Next up on the anime reviews is Dr Stone episode 8 (@53:02), Senku is looking to make some antibiotics but needs some help first. Lastly, The summit talks about Vinland Saga episode 7 (62:00), Thorfinn is looking like his father on the battlefield and wants all the smoke. The Otaku Summit talks about how Vinland Saga episode 6 (@ 34:46) was emotional and cool to see character growth. Next up is the Fire Force episode 6 (@ 39:50), The episode was mostly showing Hibana back story and why she act the way she does. Lastly the Otaku Summit review Demon Slayer episode 20 (@ 46:34), This episode was really good still and we got to see a character return and do some clean work with another dope character. On this Episode of Otaku Summit, The guys talk about what anime they have been watching or re-watching and then get into some anime news. One of the topics in the news section was that Megan Thee Stallion did a cover while she is dressed up as Todoroki from My Hero Academia and what it means to embrace anime culture.

Chaos, Jojo and Steve start talking about anime reviews with Dr. Stone episode 6 (@17:00) and talk about how unnecessary these flashbacks can be in this episode. The next anime the Otaku Summit boys review is Vinland Saga episode 5 (@24:28), This anime has some real intense moments and now it is showing us the main character goal is. They talk about Fire Force episode 5 (@34:40), Fire Force is moving quickly to the action and is still moving the story along while keeping us interested on what is going on. Saving the best for last, The guys talk about Demon Slayer episode 19 (@49:00) on how this is the best episode for the anime yet! The Otaku Summit boys talk about some anime news that include Dragon Ball FighterZ Janemba reveal trailer and talk a little bit about EVO 2019. Steve, JoJo and Chaos get into some Otaku questions that are "What anime would you like to see get an Arc Systems fighting game?" They throw out some suggestions that they would love to see. We also want to know, "What anime did you go into thinking it wasn't going to be that good but you were wrong?", We give our picks for some surprising good anime that caught us off guard.

Otaku Summit start off their anime reviews with Vinland Saga episode 4 (@25:34), This episode hit us in the chest and makes us question if this is the best anime out right now. They get into talking about Fire Force episode 4 (@42:00), They talk about how the story is keeping their attention and more characters are looking a shady. Then the crew talks about the lack luster 5th episode that Dr Stone had (@58:00) because of its flash back that had no reason being there. Lastly they talk about the episode 18 of Demon Slayer (@01:08:00), It was a really good episode for action and a character finally shows up to show off his sauce.

A question was sent in by Necoke, He asked, "What are your thoughts on Netflix Co-Production anime?". We talk about how they can improve and what is the problem with their anime section for new anime watchers.

The anime review section starts with Vinland Saga episode 3 (@ 25:35), This anime has become a very nice pick up to watch and we give our predictions. Our Fire Force episode 3 review (@ 39:18) talks about how this anime is not just about fights but the story is interesting on what they are setting up and how hyped we are for characters. We review Dr Stone episode 4 (@ 56:25) and talk about how this episode is setting up some thing that is a curve ball to the characters and now things are picking up. Last but not least, We talk about Demon Slayer episode 17 (@ 64:00) or should I say we get into a debate about how good or lame this episode is and JoJo quits mid episode?

On this episode of Otaku Summit, The guys start off with some sad news about the Studio Kyoto arson fire and talk about some of their work they loved. We send out love towards the family and friends who lost someone during the fire. They also talk about the trailer for My Hero Academia Season 4 and the new upcoming Konosuba movie. There is no Fire Force episode review this week due to the Studio Kyoto fire so we will resume those reviews once it comes back.

JoJo, Chaos and Steve talk about if Vinland Saga is worth watching after check out 2 episodes (@15:54). The review for episode 3 of Dr. Stone start at (26:21) and Chaos talk about how this anime was a little over hyped but still will watch it. Last review is Demon Slayer episodes 15 - 16 starting at (36:30) the guys talk about how Demon Slayer is lack luster at times but is starting to pick up the pace with it's recent episode. Welcome to Otaku Summit, The new season is here and the boys are ready for talk about it!. They talk about the new Lupin III CGI movie that is being released at the end of the year. They give some anime gems that yall should check out and give their reason why they enjoyed their picks. We always talk about what was the best anime or anime that looked good, But we all have seen some terrible stuff too. The Otaku Summit crew talks about all the bad anime they have seen and they also talk about how one person has always been there recommending the BS.

The new season reviews start off with Fire Force (31:00), The anime does a really good job on setting up the world and giving us enough to hook us in to enjoy the story and characters. The other big anime that came out this season is Dr. Stone (48:33), Chaos talks about how he kinda think this anime is being a little overhyped but enjoys that it is something different from a lot of other animes. The last anime that gets reviewed is Demon Slayer episode 14 (59:40), Steve and Chaos talk about how this episode was probably their worst one because nothing was happening and how a new character is annoying.
