OTHERS

A beautifully surreal feeling finding an old friend in a new setting. I got to catch up with new darkwave artist Nightgown and talk about their approach with this new project as well as where it's heading next.

EVANGILE interview out now all streaming platforms. A fun and absorbing conversation between friends as we talked about gear, song writing, our local scene and upcoming show together at The Partisan with Dj Stariatzi.

Hanging outside the Fulton 55 before a night of incredible darkwave acts we got to talk with Casa De Brujas before they hit the stage. It was very insightful discussing their experiences on the road as well as their approach to songwriting.

Back to Bakersfield, one of my favorite cities to visit, to catch paranoid synth artist "LOSSES". We got to talk a bit about his new album 'Serious Business' and the Art of War.

Velas Negras glided through Fresno and stopped by Summer Fox to perform alongside Meldamor and Blood Rave. It was an amazing show and a really cool experience discussing their inspirations and the stories behind their songs.

Lower Companion just dropped their first ep "A Hard Lined Erased" and has hit the road with long time friends Name. We got to catch up and discuss their band history, experiences tracking their new release and witnessed an explosive live performance.

LET THE SIN BEGIN! Thrownout is about to hit the road to support our brothers in Eternal Bloom and we want to see you out there! We have dates throughout California and one out in Reno. I was able to catch up with Eternal Bloom during Requiem Productions first show at Destructive Warehouse to discuss our upcoming tour as well as the themes and process behind the new album they are working on.

I can't tell you how excited I was to interview this band. After digging into their discography I was primed to nerd out on shared influences, experiences on the road and one of my favorite interests; songwriting. Make sure to check out their new album "Reflections and Criticisms" out now on The Ghost Is Clear records.
