We took a break so it's time to play a game! Vki and Vka round out 2023 with another episode of Otome Superfight. Which means we spend an hour talking about nonsense hypotheticals. Who turns everything they touch into hummus? Who ends up controlling an army of tweens? And how badly will the sisters bend their logic in order to get their otome LIs to survive each battle?
Also included, us being really sad about multiple previously recorded episodes having to be scrapped because the audio was garbled. We may have cried a bit.

…ok, we admit, there may be a few sidebars, but who can help but sing “One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater” when talking about Yosuga! Oh. It’s just us? Welp.

Racism and classism and sexism, oh my! The sisters do a shallow dive (deep dive is Ep. 37! ) into the world of Olympia Soiree. A world where your color means everything and women are for making babies. Wonderful. At least the LIs are hot?
We'll be doing an overview of Tenguu Island and how its inhabitants live and navigate this rigid society. Can Olympia find her true soul mate in this place where departed souls make the sun shine and the plague is running rampant through the color wheel? I mean…it’s an otome game so probably.

This is the one where we come up with silly questions then debate them seriously. This time we’re taking a deep dive into the BU$TAFELLOWS Love Interests! Vki and Vka tend to disagree on a lot in this game, so what will the rankings look like?
As usual, we get derailed but it’s always a good time. Also! The mug with HIDEYOSHI’S face on it makes a few appearances, because we decided to spice up a few of the questions with extra randomness.

HELLO FRIENDS WE STILL DO THIS. It’s obviously been a minute (again), the summer of 2022 has been a bit wonky for us. But hey, at least no one is in the hospital anymore? Whoohoo!
We talk about a LOT in this episode. Think of it as having coffee with a couple of friends you haven’t seen in a few months. Mmm…coffee…have y’all tried Peet’s Coffee’s Brown Sugar Oat Milk Latte? That’s Vki’s favorite right now…it’s a little too sweet so she asks them to leave out the simple syrup though. Delicious. Vka, however, completely disagrees and suggests an Iced Vietnamese Coffee with Sweetened Condensed Milk!
So grab a hot beverage (or iced because Vka can't drink hot things), kick back, and enjoy the usual banter. We’ve updated our release schedule so it accommodates our lives, which means we will be *crosses fingers* updating more regularly again!
