FEDERAL WORKERS CONTINUE TO GET SALARIES WHILE STRIKING

Today: we discuss the latest on the PSAC strike. Government employees who are currently striking will continue to get paid their regular salaries until at least May 10 according to Ottawa. More than 100,000 federal workers have been striking since April 19. Franco weighs in on the latest.

OTTAWA WANTS TO INCREASE MAXIMUMS FOR GUN CRIMES

Federal Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino says that Bill C-21's aim is to combat gun trafficking by increasing the maximums for individuals convicted of smuggling guns into the country from 10 years to 14 years. Does this go far enough? And, we discuss the realities of bail today.
