We take a dive into our ancient past to discover the origin of oracles and talking boards. Before we figured out the ease of the cardboard rectangle and planchette we were huffing mythological snake gas to get answers. How times have improved.

Pythagoras even had a talking board that would roll around on wheels.

Finally however, near the turn of the century, a coffin maker would create the first Ouija board out of sympathy for the frail spirits who were tasked with moving such heavy tables.

What a nice guy.
