"And recently I was there preparing foods for meals for people who had been helping out with the fires in Los Angeles. And it was just so overwhelming to see the love and the connection to this organization but mainly to our community and how we as a group of humans can in a very short time make a big, big difference. And I highly recommend that you do it if you're here. It's just an incredible experience. Enjoy it if you do it."

"And what's so remarkable about the experience for me was the first time I did it, I remember I didn't know very many people. Someone invited me, a friend of a friend, and as I stood there next to somebody, shoulder to shoulder, cutting vegetables, at first we didn't talk, but we were quite joyous. But we were just, you know, didn't know each other."
