A tape just marked “Chamberlain,” with several unpleasant words scratched out. Hmmm.

==================

We’ll be going on our mid-season break over the month of January, but we’ll still have bi-weekly releases- coming up next, blooper reels from the first half of Season Eight.

We’d also like to give a shout out to one of our Manager level Patreon backers- James Battle. James- in recognition of your contributions to the HartLife Corporation, please be advised that all nutriment dolled out to you over the next fiscal will be Blueberry, which the actuaries have determined will be your favorite. Enjoy, Loyal Policy- you’ve earned it.

If you want to join James and get your favorite flavor of nutriment, along with Our Fair City Ringtones, special bonus content, and more, become a backer for as little as $1 a month at www.patreon.com/hartlifenfp.

Loyal Policies- welcome to the Our Fair City 2017 Exclusion Day Special! This year we've got a special treat- the first episode of "Spookies Podcast" from the Andrew Snidge Podcast network.  This crossover with Spirits podcast was recorded live at Podcon 2017 in Seattle, and was a whole lot of fun.  You can listen to spirits podcast wherever you find your podcasts, or on the web at spiritspodcast.com.

I regret, dear listeners, that we must descend into that den of iniquity- the post-flood Tunnels. Perhaps some wisdom can be gained here, despite the direly un-Corporate nature of the locale?

The Department of Memory has vast historical resources. Perhaps we can find an answer to our current predicament by digging through the life of one particularly recalcitrant Policy.

I detest these Liminals. The collaborations between Rogue Scientists and Rebel Policies will never bear the sweet fruit of Truth that the works of the HartLife Corporation do!

==================

HartLife NFP is at a pivotal point in its life. With Season Eight, we are bringing Our Fair City to a close, and ramping up work on our next show. We've got a Dr. West miniseries in the works. We've never been busier.

That work is possible in large part to the support we get from listeners and fans on Patreon. Some of them give $1 a month. Some of them have donated a year’s worth of algae bars. And to thank those amazing folks we like to share special insider treats.

If you haven’t already become a Patreon supporter we’ve got an extra push. When we reach $650, we will release three scripts from Andrew Snidge’s audio drama “Adventures in Science!” (as transcribed by Jim McDoniel) on our Patreon feed for all our backers!

Even better: these will be released under a Creative Commons Attribution/Non-commercial License. Want to record your own Adventures in Science? Make a comic? Use it in some other medium? Go ahead---Andrew would be proud of you!

But first you have to be a Patron. So head over to Patreon.com/hartlifenfp to help us make this happen. And then you get to read Adventures in Science.

How dare they profane that holiest of holiest, that sacred ritual of productivity…the Meeting? Does their perfidy know no bounds?

We’re getting very close to our next goal on Patreon– when we reach $650, we will release scripts for “Adventures in Science,” Andrew Snidge’s audio drama from episode 2 to all of our patrons! You can learn more and become a patron at patreon.com/hartlifenfp!

Perhaps we should check in on the Vice Presidents- those dear Middle Managers of the HartLife Corporation. Surely they have some clue as to what happened to everyone here.

We're excited to share a few details for our upcoming Doctor Herbert West miniseries, funded by out generous Patreon backers. This series will be written by four guest writers from other amazing podcasts, and will be released first on our Patreon feed, then here on the podcast. We're thrilled to tease the first piece- a dynamic tale of Albuquerque from Sarah Shachat of Wolf 359.

We're also excited to announce a new Patreon goal- when we reach $650, we will release scripts for "Adventures in Science," Andrew Snidge's audio drama from episode 2 to all of our patrons! You can learn more and become a patron at patreon.com/hartlifenfp!
