Our Father's Heart

In this study, we will be focusing on the resurrection of the dead, which is in two parts. This doctrine is one of the foundations of the doctrine of Christ that need to be taught and preached to all believers. There is a powerful, wonderful, liberating hope in the resurrection that needs to be understood, and by the end of this study, I hope you will see its application for today.

May God bless you and make you prosperous in Him as you listen and obey His voice!

This addendum to the Laying on of Hands continues our study in the principles of the doctrine of Christ. This latter addition explains the association of the left hand being a curse (or something less than a full blessing) and the right hand being the blessing or full blessing in the Jewish culture and how it leads us into the next principle of the doctrine of Christ, the Resurrection of the Dead.

May God bless you and make you prosperous in Him as you listen and obey His voice!

We continue our study in the principles of the doctrine of Christ with the focus now on the Laying on of Hands, a means of impartation. In this study, we will look at this topic from the New Covenant and the purposes and reasons for "laying on of hands". We hope to conclude, recognizing and acknowledging the scriptural validity of its use today, as well as understand its spiritual significance in our Father’s eyes.

May God bless you and make you prosperous in Him as you listen and obey His voice!

We continue our study in the principles of the doctrine of Christ and conclude the doctrine of baptisms. Why baptism in water and in Spirit? Death and burial are necessary to be resurrected. We cannot be resurrected into a new life in Christ Jesus without dying first. So both baptism in water and in the Spirit are necessary and are essential to becoming born again (John 3:3-5).

May God bless you and make you prosperous in Him as you listen and obey His voice!

We continue our study in the principles of the doctrine of Christ getting deeper into the doctrine of baptisms. The focus in this segment is on the baptism in the Spirit and the precedents for it from Acts chapters 1, 2, 8, 10, 18 and 19. The testimonies are overwhelmingly in favor of the inseparableness of water baptism in Jesus’ name and the baptism in the Spirit.

May God bless you and make you prosperous in Him as you listen and obey His voice!

We continue our study in the principles of the doctrine of Christ getting deeper into the doctrine of baptisms. We focus on the meaning of baptism or baptize itself and the precedents for baptisms in water and why Jesus was baptized. Jesus set the example for us to follow, not only by partaking in water baptism (which for Him was personally unnecessary), but also in that He baptized others.

May God bless you and make you prosperous in Him as you listen and obey His voice!

We continue our study in the principles of the doctrine of Christ here with baptisms. We have to consider the gospel of the kingdom or of Jesus Christ because baptism was intertwined with the preaching of the gospel and we conclude with a very important question, "The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men?"

May God bless you and make you prosperous in Him as you listen and obey His voice!

We continue to look at the Man Jesus Christ through the eyes of the apostles, but our focus shifts from Paul to Peter, Thomas, and John.  As we continue to bring multiple witnesses testifying of the true identity of this Man, we are reminded of the scriptures that state, "by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." When we consider all of the evidence from the many witnesses who walked and talked with Jesus, we come to the conclusion and render a verdict as to the identity of the Man Jesus Christ and what do we need to do to properly apply our faith toward God.

May God bless you and make you prosperous in Him as you listen and obey His voice!

What is faith? What is true biblical faith? And what is the true identity of the Man, Jesus the Christ? These questions are thoroughly addressed and answered through the eyes of the apostles, beginning with Paul, so that we can properly exercise our Faith toward God.
