Jesus tells us all the law hinges on Love God and Neighbor, this is the highest possible standard. We will fall short of perfect love, but when we do, do not despair, rather seek God's forgiveness, guidance and the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts to love more like Jesus.

Render onto Cesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's is not a statement suggesting some things belong only to Caesar, instead it is a reminder that all things belong to God.

When facing his enemies Jesus is still trying to persuade them to change and choose the salvation he offers, by painting a picture of how beautiful heaven is and how sad we will be if we choose not to accept the invitation to heaven.

What God did through St Francis was remarkable! It all happened because St Francis began to pray with the Gospels, to allow Jesus to speak to him &  to serve him in all persons he met and preach the Gospel in the streets, not only the churches. That same formula for us can transform our lives, our families, our relationships, the church and the world.

Change is hard when we are living for ourselves. But when we surrender our will to God's will it helps us respond to life not react, to be humble, and to be comfortable in uncertainty. We are a work of God in progress, and he's not done yet! He is  changing us from sinner to Saint.
