They're going through changes! The brothers breakdown and discuss one of their favorite shows at the moment, Big Mouth. The show makes a comical commentary on a topic that should be relatable for everyone, going through puberty. In a strange way the show helps to demystify those strange changes and does so in a light hearted and in some situations raunchy way. The show brings in an all-star cast of guest stars for its fourth season, and the brothers breakdown their favorite moments and predictions for the next season as characters enter into high school. 

The brothers get back to the original scheduled programming and why you first started listening to the pod, a la just the two of them and none of those meddling guests. On this week's episode the guys chat about no other than Thanksgiving and what matters most on this holiday, and it isn't family. It's the food. And in typical fashion the guys do a fantasy draft of sorts to reveal their top picks.

For legal purposes what you’re about to listen to is a complete and absolute joke, enjoy. This week’s guest, Duncan, is Nick’s best friend and partner in debauchery. Everyone has that friend when they’re together it’s always a good time, and sometimes too good of a time. That’s Duncan and Nick. And the best thing about best friends is well your brothers have a good vantage of the stories that ensue. Whether it be middle school dances, one off misadventures or saving two brothers from getting their butts handed to them, best friends are the best for a reason. These guys get into some Joe Rogan level shit and it’s not something you’re going to want to miss.

At the half way point of the NFL season the boys discuss the silver and black with long time fan and brother of the pod, Chris. The fandom tree all starts with one man, the dad of the pod, and he’d be the first to tell you the Autumn Wind is a Raider. Chris has been a fan born out of his interaction with the brothers and there’s no more perfect way to be introduced to the world of the Raiders. The guys recap a good 5 and 3 start for the Ders and talk favorite players past and present, and give an overview of what should be a good 2nd half of the season. Crack a Modwelo on the way into a the Coliseum and order up two hot atomics, this is going to be a good one.

The odds are if you’ve been friends with someone for over 10 years, that you’ll be friends for a life time, and that’s the type of guest the the guys have on the pod this week. A duo that’s relationship was forged by a career of perfect long snaps and holds this weeks guest, Benj as he’s known by the locals, has been a stalwart of the brothers hometown inner circle. As a teammate, coach, fantasy league rival and everything in between Benj shares his favorite moments involving the brothers and they discuss trips abroad, rugby and maybe even a few local watering holes. Also, are the brothers achieving some sort of notoriety, who’s to say?

The guys have everyone’s favorite Australian physicist and part time sanitation specialist, Sadie Schroeter, on the pod to discuss her life and times as a newly realized city gal finding her way in San Francisco. A friend of Nick’s but not necessarily a friend of the pod, Sadie, has lived a very interesting life having worked a harvest in Australia and now starting a career at a university supporting eastern medicine. Sometimes the best things in life are what you haven’t planned for and Sadie is a testament of someone who is just doing it and figuring out the misadventures along the way. 

The guys have special guest, future Dr. Ryan Chun, on the pod and discuss everything from growing up on Oahu to the culture shock of living in Utah as a dental student. Ryan is certainly a friend of the pod and has appeared on and off through the guys’ lives over the last 8 years as a friend of their brother. The three share stories of their mutual connection and banter about all things oral hygiene. In typical brothers fashion you might actually learn something about dentistry and Hawaii. Grab a musubi and make sure you brush those teeth.

To kick off season 2 the boys have their first guest on the pod, none other than their actual brother. The guys ask their guest for a few tidbits on rugby, traveling and everything in between and of course the conversation lends to a comical time. There’s a certain type of camaraderie that only brothers can have and whether it’s basketball in China or behind a meat counter dishing out fresh cuts, the boys have and will always love having a good time.

The boys do a drunk history rendition of the first presidential debate. The guys jabber on using the transcript from the not so presidential debate with Trevor as Trump and Nick as Biden, and a ruffled voice by both for Chris Wallace. Certainly the debate was a shit show to say the least and if anything this reading is a bit more clear than the live version but who’s to say?

The boys talk about rugby and how the game has created friendships, memories and maybe even some enemies over the years. Having played at the high school, college and men’s club levels, the guys talk about their journey chasing the odd shaped ball and how the game and culture has had a lasting impact on them through the people they’ve met from all over. Rugby has always been the medium for brotherhood, camaraderie and more than anything, a damn good time. Whether you’ve been a rugger for a decade plus or you’re just lacing up the boots for the first time, rugby is a game for all and a great way to build friendships that can endure the test of time.
