Our Moms Think We're Funny

Acomi and Turk182 decide the best way to celebrate May 4th is by watching a movie that will make you hate May 4th and question the Star Wars universe. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Episode IX.

What is there to say about a sequel or trilogy that didn't need to exist? Characters with inordinate potential that is never fully realized, or quickly forgotten. Development that is copy-paste or dropped. Cameos of characters from prior movies used as a gimmick to get the viewer interested, or give credence that this is a good film. Events that are never explained, and should just be accepted.

Join Acomi and Turk as they try valiantly to hold their kelvin degree boiling bile in check and not rage at the screen. So incomprehensible it makes the Humanoid look like a true sequel. Let's Watch! Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Acomi and Turk182, along the occasional special guest, provide running commentary of awfulsome movie and TV shows. The hosts select movies that either one, or both, have never seen. All jokes and comments are improvised. NO PREPARED JOKES OR COMMENTS!

During recording, the movies are watched at a low volume and with the subtitles on. Viewers may want to turn subtitles on as well to enhance the viewing experience.

So, cue up the audio, ready the movie, and hit play when we say so.

Note: This is commentary recorded by Acomi and Turk182. The commentary can be enjoyed on its own, but if you want to experience the Let's Watch! in all its glory, you'll need your own copy of the movie. Most of the movies viewed can be streamed online for free.

Acomi and Turk182 discuss the campus protests going on across American colleges and universities.

Neither are oppose to protesting to support one's beliefs or speak out about injustice, but they're both big believers in protesting the right people. If you want a change in behavior or policy, then you have to direct your grievance at the people who can affect that change. Protesting Grandma's pie to lower gas prices isn't going to do much.

There's also the people whose lives you're interrupting during your protest. From Grandpa down to the next door neighbor, their gonna be pretty ticked if they don't get some pie.

Join Acomi and Turk as they palaver the dos and don't of protesting.

Acomi and Turk182 are joined by guest Generic, as they continue to dissect the blockbuster Vin Diesel movie Bloodshot (2020).

The three discuss the many flaws in the movie and how the technology in the film is wasted. Nanites, exo-skeletons, water breathing lungs, etc. all used for a singular purpose. And, how the movie sacrifices the story and the other actors to stroke Vin's ego. Maybe he should be Vain Diesel.

Join Acomi, Turk, and Generic as they explain everything that's wrong with the movie, and why studios have such difficulty adapting comic book properties.

Acomi and Turk182, with guest Generic, inject themselves with nanites to help ease the physical discomfort of sitting through the Vin Diesel comic book disaster Bloodshot (2020).

Released by Valiant Comics in 1992, Bloodshot is about a man brought back to life with the use of nanites; which repairs all damage to his reanimated body and keep him alive. With his technological immortality, he seeks revenge against the people that killed him. Family.

Following one of the rebooted comic versions, Vin's Bloodshot is being manipulated by the company the resurrected him into being their cyborg assassin. Using implanted false memories to make him seek vengeance against the people he believes murdered him.

But, there'll be hell to pay, if he finds out the truth! Family.

Join Acomi, Turk, and Generic as they pretend to care about a movie that's as convoluted and knotted as Christmas tree lights, but not as much fun. Who is the pale nanite powered man really? And, why does his live his life a quarter mile at a time? To find out, you have to get Bloodshot (2020).

Acomi and Turk182 talk about the accusations made at comedian(?) Matt Rife, that he performed sexual acts to become famous. (At least he found something he's good at.)

Another comedian claims he and Matt were offered comedy deals if they'd service them. Well, the one you've never heard of didn't, and the one you have heard of... well, you've heard of them.

Join Acomi and Turk as they speculate if deeds were actually done for fame. It's equally likely that services were rendered, and fame was offered later.

Join Acomi and Turk as they give you internet news, with a spin!
