Hello, fellow nerds! We had so much fun chatting with indie author Harper Ashley, creator of No Place to Hide and the Chaotix Boys series!

Harper started writing on Wattpad as a hobby, and it quickly became a passion project and career. For Harper, writing has always been an escape and within six months of completing her first book,  Torn to Pieces, she had over 100K reads.

Harper is a mom, a college student, a full-time worker at her day job, and still somehow finds time for this dream. She is a lover of romance and fantasy, and a perpetual fan of the underdog. Harper tends to favor bad boys... but then again, who doesn't?

Hello, fellow nerds! We have a special Sunday bonus interview this week with raunch-com author AK Landow! Her writing is known for laughs, tears, and for being one-handed reads.

AK is the author of the Belles of Broad Street and the City of Sisterly Love series. She’s a recovering attorney living outside of the Philadelphia area with her husband, who she secretly pined for through her teen years, three crazy hormonal daughters, and multiple animals. 

She enjoys reading, now writing, drinking copious amounts of vodka, and laughing. Having discovered there’s no other need in the world for funny degenerates, she’s thrilled to have this new avenue to channel her age-inappropriate sense of humor.

She published the first four books in the City of Sisterly Love series in 2022, with the final full length (a few novellas added) book having been published in 2023. She initially wrote the first book, Knight, because it pisses her off that there are no FMCs over the age of 40. She wrote it as an FU to the romance community to let them know that "oldies" still get it on. She fell so madly in love with both being an author and her fictitious family, that she can't seem to stop writing. The entire series centers around a group of strong, intelligent, confident, and supportive women. The central family is known for severe cases of oversharing and walking in on each other. Hilarity often ensues.

Hello, fellow nerds! This week, we sat down with the hilarious, sweet and crazy smart Swati M.H., author of the Fated Love duet, the Elements of Rapture series, and her newest release, Ablaze!

Swati MH is a Texas raised Indian American currently living in the Bay Area. With a degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas and an MBA, she has had a successful career building software products, but writing is both her hobby and passion. Swati likes to call herself a storyteller rather than an author. She’s a mom of two beautiful little girls and a wife to a wonderful and supportive husband. Her days start with caffeine and sometimes end with a glass (or three) of wine.

For Swati, writing and reading are an escape from real life. She loves meeting and creating characters who she’d love to take out for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Her goal as a storyteller is to distract her readers from their daily grind with stories about everyday couples finding and fighting for incredible love with the help of a little luck.

Charissa Weaks is an award-winning author of romantic and historical fantasy. She crafts stories with time travel, magick, myth, history, and the occasional apocalyptic quest. 

Charissa resides just south of Nashville with her family and two wrinkly English Bulldogs. When she’s not writing, you can find Charissa lost in a good book or digging through four-hundred-year-old texts for research.
