Please note:
I am aware that for some dogs (and maybe mine would have been one of them—I will never know), behavioral euthanasia is the only option. Please know that I am not shaming you if you had that 1-in-a-million dog! My heart breaks for you!
I would like to raise awareness that there needs to be a PROPER assessment first, and whatever "camp" you were raised in, you need to tag in someone from outside your own echo chamber before making the decision to give up on a dog. That is the moral I would my story to teach. And if you're a trainer ... know your limits. Break out of your own echo chamber to keep getting better at everything you do.
