“I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.” Psalm 142:5

No matter what season of life you are in, you can have the joy of the Lord. David was in a cave when he cried this verse to the Lord.

1. It takes faith to have joy in the tough seasons. (Hebrews 11:8)

2. We must practice thankfulness. (Colossians 1:12)

3. When we submit to God’s plan, He will reward us. (Colossians 3:22-24)
