An eye opening discussion with PhD. student Nick Castillo covering a study that was recently published by FIU and Bonefish & Tarpon Trust (BTT). The study has discovered pharmaceutical contaminants in the blood and other tissues of bonefish in Biscayne Bay and the Florida Keys. The study highlights an average of 7 pharmaceutical contaminants, per Bone Fish! Most people are aware of plastics and other chemical contaminants, but the work done by this science team opens the door to other factors that need to be addressed and the team does have a solution.

I used to believe that anxiety & depression was all fake. I thought it was something that people made up to get out of things or because they wanted a certain amount of attention. After struggling with anxiety for a couple of years, I realized that I wasn't educated on the impacts that anxiety can have on someones life.
