We had a fantastic conversation with Patrick, his amazing wife Holly and one of their DJ’s (DJ Hatter) for the latest episode for OSF TV. Patrick has been involved with weddings for over 15 years, starting before he turned 18! DJ Hatter has been a wedding pro for 13 years and Holly (who we suspect is the one really in charge! LOL) now heads up their incredible Royal Crown Photo Mirror team!

We had a fantastic conversation with Grace from GracieLou Photography out of Marengo Ia. She’s amazing! Grace is truly “living who she is” – there is no false front to try and fool you into thinking she’s someone she isn’t. She sings, she teaches, she loves her family, her chickens AND her clients!

Grace has been a photographer for about 10 years now! She photographs everything from weddings to adoptions to boudoir to parades. Grace obtained her bachelor's in photography and then her masters in elementary teaching. Along with being a teacher, I am a tattoo artist, journalist, musician, d.j. mother, wife, and plenty more!

Grace is 100% focused on you and your big day and we have the show to prove it! You’re going to love our conversation about her wonderful talent, and even enjoy the occasional “side trip” into fish, chickens and more!

We had an amazing conversation with Carolyn from CM Planning Co! Even though she’s based in Chicago, she has her roots here in Iowa. She is a fully accredited Wedding & Event Planner through the Wedding Planner Society and a certified “Timeline Genius” both are part of the largest community of wedding planners is the world’s leading certification program for wedding & event planners.

Carolyn is great! Although she’s based in Chicago, she still loves working with couples here in Iowa to help make their day as amazing and stress free as she can! One of the neatest little “moments” of our conversation was how she shared that she’s going through this crazy process herself too – planning her own wedding while she is busy helping others.

You have insurance for your car, your home and of course, yourself – Carolyn gives you so many fantastic reasons to have the “insurance” of a professional, certified wedding planner too!

So many couples make the “mistake” of trusting a “friend with a great camera” or Uncle Bob’s phone to record the biggest day of their lives! Please don’t do that! Before you make any decisions, listen to what Jake has to say.
