Dave Bartoo of the College Football Matrix joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line talking about why the championship game is very rare, the loaded QB draft class and who could win it all in college football live in the BankPlus Studio. Bo asks Dave if he would take Michael Penix or Jayden Daniels and he thinks that Penix proved more with less talent than Jayden Daniels did. Dave talks about how the numbers favored Michigan to beat Alabama and even though they played a sloppy game they were still able to pull it out. Dave never thought that Jim Harbaugh would ever win a national title at Michigan and thinks he doesn't get enough credit for the job he did with the program.

MLB legend and five-time Allstar Larry Bowa who won a world series both as a player and then as a coach joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line. Bo asks Larry when he was with the Phillies when did they realize they were going to be good. Larry says that in the mid 70s they started to play really good but were still missing something. The missing piece was Pete Rose. At that point Dallas Green took over and that is what led them to where they were in the 1980s. After a tough series with Houston, Bowa felt there was really no pressure on them going in the World Series at that point.

MLB legend and five-time Allstar Larry Bowa who won a world series both as a player and then as a coach joins the show on the Farm Bureau guest line. Bo asks Larry about his start in baseball, and the Philadelphia Phillies Wall of Famer says he was cut three times from his high school team because of his size. He got signed to JUCO through summer ball and from there worked his way to the minors then the majors. Never thought about quitting because of his dad who was a minor league player with over 2,000 hits and never got drafted. Bo asked him when he realized he could have a career, and Larry said it was in the minor leagues. He was told he could be a major league utility player, but if he could learn to switch-hit, he would be an everyday player in AAA, so that is what he did and hit around .270-.280 as a switch-hitter.

Bo asks him who is the comeback player of the year Joe Flacco or Baker Mayfield. Steve shuns them both and says it's actually Damar Hamlin, but that Flacco is doing amazing and playing very aggressive. In the Texans Vs. the Colts, Steve thinks the Colts with Garner Minshew are a sneaky good team and Minshew is playing great, but he's still leaning towards a Texans win saying they have more potential coming into the game.

Michigan insider Steve Deace joins the show on the Farm bureau guest line talking about how Michigan is heading to the national championship live in the BankPlus Studio. Bo asks Steve about how Michigan still won the game even after giving up two turnovers and Steve attributes the win to Jim Harbaugh's return to an old-school style. Steve says that the game looked like old-school Alabama against new Alabama and thinks Jim Harbaugh went back to the basics to beat Nick Saban. Steve breaks down that Michigan used NIL to pay current players rather than bringing in new guys each year.
