Pete George Reviews Bathurst 1000 race, which is a car race that takes place in Australia. The speaker talks about some of the drivers that will be participating in the race, as well as some of the unique aspects of the race. For example, each driver has to drive a minimum of 54 laps, and there are seven compulsory pit stops for fuel and tires. The speaker also talks about how the race is affected by the weather, and how the wet conditions could make it difficult for the drivers.

Pete George discusses how, for several years, they began to experience more and more medical problems, which eventually led to a partial breakdown and an attempt to take their own life. They explain how their family saw the decline, but they were too deep in it to realize it themselves. The speaker goes on to say that they are doing better now but still struggle from time to time. They end with a few pointers about mental health and how to help those who are struggling.

Pete describes how their life spiralled downwards after they became addicted to pain medication. They describe how they woke up one day in a rage and abused their family members. They ended up in the hospital and do not remember four days of their life. He also describes how they were close to ending their life but decided to seek help instead. They checked into a mental health unit and began to understand why they had gotten to that point. The person describes how there is a good obsession and a bad obsession and how their obsession drove people away from them.

In the conversation, Peter talks about how his mental health deteriorated to the point where he had to spend time in a mental health unit. He talks about how his friends and family were supportive, but that a lot of people were offended by his behaviour and no apology could help that. He talks about how, after spending time with an occupational therapist, he realized that he needed to try to improve his mental health and that he had let a lot of people down. He talks about how there is a lot of help available for people in his situation, and that his friend David was a great help to him.

Pete also discusses how he has been trying to improve his body function He talks about how he has been swimming and how he plans to go back to school and start being a  photographer again. He also talks about how important it is to ask someone how they are doing, instead of just asking how they are doing.

Pete and Colin discuss Colin's music career, with a focus on the stories that Colin tells through his music. Colin shares that he didn't begin making music until he moved to Australia and that his songs were always meant to connect with and resonate with listeners.

Colin talks about how he was brought up to believe that being a man meant being an excellent drinker and how this led to him having a very violent and abusive life. He talks about how his early childhood experiences shaped his beliefs about manhood. How this has led to struggles throughout his life.

Colin describes how as a result of his addiction, he became involved in criminal activity to feed his hunger. He talks about how this created tension with his parents, which eventually led to an escalation in the conflict between them.

Colin describes their journey from addiction to sobriety, discussing how their mental health problems led them to become reclusive and how they eventually found help. They talk about how their experience has led them to want to help others, and how they believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel for those struggling with addiction.

Pete George and his guest, Don, discuss grief and loss and how to deal with it. They talk about how grief can affect mental health and how to get around it. The conversation discusses the importance of mental health and how sometimes people need to hit rock bottom in order to realise they need help. It also discusses how mental health is often seen as a destination after someone has reached out for help, rather than an illness. The speakers discuss the challenge of inherited conditioning from parents, and how it can be difficult to break free from negative patterns. They talk about the importance of emotional openness and courage in order to create space for others to do the same. The speakers discuss the idea that people tend to show their true selves more authentically at home, surrounded by people who they believe love them unconditionally. They also talk about the balance that is necessary for relationships, and how this can be seen in the relationship graph which refers to the terms bedevilment and enshrinement

Don and I meet online over a decade ago I thought it was by chance I now know it was for a reason and that reason is to help others by sharing our pain and helping you understand that it is ok to have pain.  We have had many discussions and none more so than when Don and his Wife Lauren came to stay with us over Christmas and a lifelong bond was made.  We discuss the 6 myths that keep us anchored to pian, in a frank conversion.
