Dan Tiernan is a 26-year-old, gay, Mancunian with dyspraxia. He’s a high energy act with a gag heavy set all about his weird and chaotic life. He is the comedian of the year and also BBC new comedian of the year.Here he speaks to Graeme about being a standup comic, a dinner lady for a while, his new Edinburgh festival show this summer and ... being gay and dyspraxic.By Dan's admission he is gay but doesn't feel like he totally belongs in the gay community in the traditional sense and most of his mates are his life long friends who are all straight.Just before he set off to Edinburgh for the fringe season of his career he chats to OUTCAST UK.

The US based actor Aidan Moreno is in the Netflix series Heartland. After playing the character "Rick" since 2007, they decided to include an LGBTQ+ storyline on the show and was on the receiving end of a massive homophobic backlash from viewers to the show on US and Canadian network TV.Series 16 of the show dropped on Netflix this week and Aidan has been in the UK talking about the response of north american viewers to the queer storyline.He also appeared in UK media this week on Good Morning Britain and across the tabloid press after being reported as saying "straight actors should not play queer roles".
