Loved spending time with Artie O'Daly back in October when I was down in West Hollywood. Artie stopped by my AirBandB and we chatted about his career so far, the series "Bad Boy' which is currently on Youtube. We also spoke about his guest role on the soap opera General Hospital where he plays a character that shares a dick pic.
Artie is the sweetest and most welcoming man, so nice that I ended up sharing some stuff that I deleted from the episode. So Apologies for the rough cut about 14 minutes into the episode.

Thank you for coming back for another episode of OutCasts podcast. This week I welcome my guest, Eric Feltes. Originally from the Chicago area we talk about his start, what brought him out to LA and his experience as a teacher and property manager that led to him creating some projects based on those experiences.
I hope you enjoy this episode, please share, rate and like. By the way, still think that Eric says "Pigdick" during the interview, see if you hear it too.

Hope everybody had a great week last week, regardless if you celebrate the holiday. This week I spoke with two of the guys behind the new series coming out soon "Demonhuntr". When I first spoke with Tim on twitter, this series caught my eye because there were elements of the series Buffy The Vampire Slayer that I really missed. Tim created his own show but wanted to make sure that there was more POC and LGBTQ characters.
While Tim writes and directs most of the first season, his husband Robert Rice will be a part of the series by co-producing, acting and so much more. As you will find out in the interview, he even cooked for the cast and crew.
I hope you enjoy this episode, it was a wild ride and so much fun. Look for this series to launch sometime in 2020.

Thank you so much for coming back and listening to another episode. This week my guest is Jason T Gaffney. Jason is a writer, actor and director currently working in LA. In this episode we talk about his start, writing and creating his own LGBTQ content and working with his parents as writing partners.
We also talk about his new film being edited now called "Out Of Body" and the possibility of writing a movie where every scene will have at least one character who speaks with sign language.

I was down in LA a few weeks ago and I met up with Ryland Shelton. I first saw Ryland on the series "The Third" which is currently playing on Dekkoo.com. "The Third" is about a couple having problems and invite a third guy into the relationship.
After talking about Ryan and his role on "The Third", we talk about his company he started called TruVoice Vocal Development. TruVoice helps the trans community find their true voice.
Ryland is a great guy, so much fun and has a great laugh. I hope you enjoy the conversation.

Welcome to a VERY delayed 4th episode of OutCasts Podcast. After a busy few weeks which included a trip to LA, I am back with all new episodes.
This episode is with Vancouver, BC Canada writer, director and actor Jeremy Leroux. Sometimes creating your own content is the best way to get the stories out that you want to tell. In our conversation, Jeremy talks about his love for Country music, why he wanted to tell a story in the country scene and how it all happened.

One of the many reasons I love doing this podcast is I am going to be able to talk to indie filmmakers who are creating LGBT themed movies. My guest this week has been seen in commercials, network tv shows and movies and is now creating and starring in his own short films.
After getting to know Nicholas we move on to talk about how he came up with "The Handyman" and where he plans to take the series in the sequel. You can also find out how you can help the sequel become a reality.
This podcast will sometimes focus on themes or parts of LGBT cinema that interests me and an example of this is when Nicholas and I spend a few minutes talking the use of 'skin' in gay film.

Wondering how this podcast got started, it all goes back to Matt Carter when I interviewed him for my LGBT sports podcast, Level Playing Field. In that episode we spoke about this film before we spoke about the rugby club that was born from the film and it was at that time I realized that I wanted to go deeper into LGBT themed projects.
I enjoyed speaking with Matt, not only about "In From The Side" but his earlier work as well. After talking about "Jason Bend: Queen and Country" we also talk about straight actors playing gay roles. It was interesting to hear the perspective of someone from London to see how things might be different.

Welcome to the first episode of Outcasts Podcast. Each episode I am going to speak with an actor, director, writer or other creative who is involved with the producing of LGBT themed projects.
To tie into my LGBT sports podcast the first two episodes are going to be sports themed episode. My first guest is John Donnelly, a British screenwriter who wrote "The Pass", the play would later be adapted to film by John. Here is the description from wikipedia:
Nineteen-year-olds Jason and Ade have been in the Academy of a famous London football club since they were eight years old. It's the night before their first-ever game for the first team — a Champions League match — and they're in a hotel room in Romania. They should be sleeping, but they're over-excited. They skip, fight, mock each other, prepare their kit, watch a teammate's sex tape. And then, out of nowhere, one of them kisses the other. The impact of this 'pass' reverberates through the next ten years of their lives — a decade of fame and failure, secrets and lies, in a sporting world where image is everything.
Before talking about "The Pass", I spoke with John about how he got started. Here are some ways to follow John on social media and links to find more info about the movie.
John Donnelly on twitter:
Months ago on my sports podcast I had an episode devoted to Matt Carter and the South London Stags. In that episode (Link Below) we spoke about his rugby club but also the film that he wrote, directed and currently editing "In From The Side". That episode is what gave me the idea for this podcast.
My first episode launches October 2nd with my guest John Donnelly. John wrote a play about two 16 year old footballers and the effects of a night in a hotel room before a big match. Nothing could bridge the gap between my LGBT sports podcast and this new podcast where I speak with with the people who tell LGBT stories.
Enjoy this snippet of my first episode and come back on October 2nd for the entire episode. A new episode with Matt Carter will appear on October 4th and regular episodes will start the following Wednesday.
I look forward to bringing you my interviews with people who create LGBT stories and a featured project of theirs. Please do me a favor and share this podcast with others.
