An experienced sports philanthropy professional and Sport Business Journal Game Changers nominee, Bridget Gannon is the Senior Director of Social Impact & Events for the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA | @NBAalumni). At the NBRPA, Gannon oversees the entire Legends Care initiative and is also instrumental in the growth, execution and success of Legends Media & Entertainment.
Prior to joining the NBRPA in 2018, she oversaw the Nationals Dream Foundation - charitable arm of the Washington Nationals baseball team - and was MLB's 2018 All-Star Legacy Projects Coordinator, leading $1.7 million of capital improvement projects around the DC metro area. In addition to 11 and a half seasons with the Washington Nationals, Gannon also had stints with the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, and Legg Mason Tennis Classic (now Citi Open).
A native of Philadelphia, PA, and proud alum of Mount Saint Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA), Gannon received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and certificates from Yale University and Northwestern University.
