Outside TG

After a break for gun deer hunting season, Jeff and Charlie are back to recap everything that happened in the Buck Pool.  We do a "rapid fire" recap of the bucks taken in the pool in the past two weeks that ends up not being very rapid, much like this sentence.  We also give away this week's raffle prize, two $50 Cabela's gift cards courtesy of Bill Seiltz at Seiltz Trucking.  Thanks, Bill!  To catch up with everything happening in the pool remember to visit tgbuckpool.com.  Thanks for listening!

Enjoy the second half of our conversation with TG Buck Pool Hall of Famers Shawn Thomas and Travis Tlachac recorded earlier this week.  For everything TG Buck Pool related, including the winners of our Gun Deer Season Daily Prize Dump, visit tgbuckpool.com.

Charlie and Jeff are in early this week to discuss last week's hunt.  As a special bonus going into Wisconsin's gun deer season they bring in TG Buck Pool Hall of Famers Shawn Thomas (2020 Champion, 3-time Top 3 Finisher, and 3 of the Top 10 bucks in the All-Time List) and Travis Tlachac (2018 and 2019 Champion) for Part 1 of a two-part deer hunting conversation.  Jeff also announces the 2022 deer season prize dump in which a prize will be given to someone in the Buck Pool every day during the 9-day Wisconsin gun deer hunting season.  The guys also give away the Week 9 Buck Pool Prize, a $50 Fleet Farm gift card courtesy of George Schussler at Motion Industries.  Thanks, George!  Keep an eye on tgbuckpool.com for all of the news about the buck board and look for Part 2 of our conversation with Shawn and Travis later this week.  Good luck out there this weekend!

Charlie and Jeff weren't exactly 100% prepared this week and Charlie had no desire to edit it, so you're gonna hear every dumb mistake we made while recording.  We hear Jeff confuse buck stories and Charlie lose his train of thought while trying to recall all of the successful hunts of the past week.  You'll also hear the guys kill time while Jeff surfs tgbuckpool.com.  Thankfully, Casey saves the podcast.  He calls in to tell some entertaining and fascinating stories about his week bow hunting in Kansas.  This week's raffle prize is a $200 gift card to Cabela's and a K&M Machining stocking cap courtesy of Kelly Malach at K&M Machining.  Thanks for the generous donation, Kelly!

Jeff returned from his Minnesota hunt this week and promptly hit a deer with his car.  Vehicular complications meant that we were forced to attempt our first online podcast this week.  No theme music, no interviews (Casey is preparing for a hunt in Kansas), no frills.  Just stories about Jeff's trip and the many other bucks that were added to the pool this week.  We also gave away a great raffle prize courtesy of Guy Adams at Design Air.  As always, for everything related to the TG Buck Pool please go to tgbuckpool.com for more.  Thanks for listening!

Jeff is out hunting this week so Charlie and Casey took a road trip to Greg Wierzba's home - an outdoorsman's paradise - for an interview.  Charlie also runs through the week in the TG Buck Pool and gives out another great raffle prize: A Milwaukee rechargeable headlamp and flashlight courtesy of Bob Bohrer at Total Tool.  Thanks to Bob for the awesome prize, to Werz for the amazing interview, and to you for checking out the podcast.  For everything TG Buck Pool related check out tgbuckpool.com.

Casey Liegeois joins the podcast to talk deer hunting and Charlie takes us on a bizarre falconry tangent.  One lucky member of the buck pool wins a Fleet Farm gift card and Hilti swag courtesy of Bonnie Horen at Hilti.  Thanks for the generous donation, Bonnie!  Get the latest updates on the TG Buck Pool at tgbuckpool.com.

This week Jeff and Charlie discuss the bucks taken by Chad Wehmeyer and Jake Reiter and talk about their use of trail cams.  This week's raffle prize was also given out courtesy of Andy Shilt and Katie Brummond of Midwest Sales & Marketing.  Catch up on everything TG Buck Pool related at tgbuckpool.com.

This week is mostly an episode about nothing.  Jeff and Charlie recap their weeks, then tell the success stories of Luke Elliott and Brian Mier, the first two hunters on the 2022 buck board.  We also give away this week's raffle prize, a DeWalt drill and impact driver courtesy of Cory Tingley at Advanced Fastening Supply.  Follow all of the TG Buck Pool action at our website tgbuckpool.com.  Thanks for listening!

Since nobody seems to be having any luck with the deer we switch our focus to duck hunting the the concept of "I was here first" on public hunting land.  We also give away our second raffle prize of the season courtesy of Nick Deja at Airgas.  Don't forget to check out all of the updates at our TG Buck Pool website.
