  • Episode #128 - Eye Can See Clearly Now 🤓 with the Renfrew Eye Clinic
Many of the movements we perform, tasks we complete and personal interactions we have all rely on our vision. Even our sleep schedules are affected by the light we see during the day. And having the ability to see is a sense that we tend to take for granted and don't give it much thought until our vision becomes blurred... and then we make that appointment to see our optometrist.
Dr. Morgan Welburn, Optometrist and Partner of the Renfrew Eye Clinic and her business partner advocate for eye health, encouraging people to get regular eye tests and are bringing in more tools and technology to help advance the full spectrum of vision care for their patients.
Dr. Welburn was also recently featured in Women in Optometry showcasing her clinic's recent renovation, is a community supporter sponsoring events and initiatives, and is bringing awareness to female optometrists, as the numbers and the positions occupied by women optometrists are not only increasing but are actually starting to outnumber their male counterparts.
    In this episode, we discuss:
❌👓 Why should you NOT buy perscription and glasses online
🤓 If you have 20/20 vision... does this mean you have perfect eyesight?!
🤷🏼‍♀️ Does Dr. Welburn think that a gender imbalance still exists in optometrist professionals?
