Tys Green and Josh Murphy are two friends who have a great appreciation for their community and had a vision to give people a platform to share their stories from surrounding areas in the Ottawa Valley. So, they created “The Heart of the Valley,” a feature-length film that explores different perspectives from folks of different races, genders, ages, and nationalities on how they have been uniquely shaped by living within the Ottawa Valley.

In February 2020, Jolan Wong secured a spot in the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo by winning gold and being named “Best Libero” at the World ParaVolley’s final Paralympic qualification tournament in Halifax.

17 year old Ruby Pilatzke is raising money for diabetes research. Ruby was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 9-years-old.
