Military spouse, longtime community member and owner of the well-loved Country Cupboard, Cheryl Jordan is a prominent face you are sure to have met either in store, at a craft show or through her volunteer work in various community initiatives.
The idea around the Country Cupboard wasn’t initially meant to be a gift shop and home decor store. And what is the meaning behind all these “barn stars” people in the Ottawa Valley have on their homes?
Cheryl is also a huge supporter towards military spouses, either through employment or community connections. Her doors are always open, as she wants to ensure everyone feels welcome when they come to her store and to our community.
On May 13, the Country Cupboard will be celebrating 25 years - and with this year putting a kibosh on in-person celebrations, you can probably catch her on Facebook Live celebrating!
