Lon Haldeman goes into detail about his epic 1981 coast to coast to coast (NYC - Santa Monica - NYC) 24 day crossings of the United States. Lon went from New York City to Santa Monica in 12 days 18 hours (east - west record which still stands), slept for 4 hours and then rode back to New York City in 10 days 23 hours breaking the existing west to east record.

Ultra racer Damon Taaffe was in the shape of his life last year when he suffered a terrible crash that ended his season. Taafe has gone through a long and painful recovery but says he's now more fit than ever and looking forward to racing his bike again!
