It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the darkness and brokenness in our world, but Romans 12:21 gives us a powerful reminder: “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” As followers of Christ, we’re not called to surrender to despair, we’re called to respond with goodness, kindness, and love. When we serve others, give generously, and choose what is right even when it’s hard, we push back against evil with the light of Christ. Don’t let the darkness win. Overcome it by doing good.
