Since the beginning of the year, God has had me on a divine and spiritual assignment. I learned to get out of my way and allow God to do His work in and through me. There will be times when God has to shift us to take us out of stagnation and comfortability to get us to the place of elevation for His purpose. We must keep moving forward, knowing that God orders our steps! 

When we've made it through some things that used to be challenging or complex, typically, we get right back into the grind and keep moving forward. How often do we take a moment to feel the shift? Probably not often. But in actuality, we have to do better in recognizing our growth spurts, pausing to celebrate our wins!

"I learned at an early age that if you do not stand for something, then you'll fall for anything." Today, these words speak volumes in my life. My faith is growing because of transparency and humility to stand steadfast in who I am in God. There is only one foundation to the word of God, and that is love! Whatever is not aligned with it will not stand. Our only responsibility on the earth is to love one another as God loves us and Jesus' loves the church. We are not here to cast judgment on others. It's not our job because we are not God. 

It's challenging to suffer through some things in our lives. Many would say that most things we endure are a right of passage. There's a time to "say you will" do what is necessary to elevate yourself, and everything else will follow as it applies to your capacity to withstand. Additionally, there's a sacrifice to get out of stagnation, comfort, and procrastination to become better change agents, and the cost is blood, sweat, and tears to triumph.

Splendidness is a brilliant radiance. Each of us deserves to embody life as described without feeling as though the world's weight is on our shoulders. We spend more time trying to be "politically correct" and seeming "perfect." But deep down, there are so many layers we cover-up. It's time to consider resting in splendidness! As we navigate, we need to focus on being excellent and magnificent in our eyes.

Elevated is simply seeing yourself at another level of your life that you’ve been envisioning, desiring, or striving to become for however long. How are we getting into the position to be elevated? How can we position ourselves to be elevated? If we are not in our current place of fulfillment, what steps are we taking to rectify our current status? · Imagine it, plan it, create it, implement it, grow it and repeat.

This "Karen" privilege that somehow has appropriated itself in society is killing our generation. These seemingly clever but dumb tactics to box particular groups of people out of society are not working. Now we're back to overcoming triggers, traumas, and trials. But what I know about this generation is we have studied, fact-checked, and refuse to allow history to repeat itself on our watch!

Today, I'm using my platform to share my vulnerabilities, some recent journeys, and feelings about many things near and dear to my heart. But before we get into it, is anyone else wondering where Summer is? It's looking different outside every day. Our weather globally is quite unusual because global warming is real! I need to get some things off of my chest after taking a two-week vacation. I'm back and ready to have a conversation. Would you please join me?

Juneteenth is the oldest commemoration of ending slavery. Its origin came from Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865, as the African American Emancipation Day. It is celebrated across the US and beyond. On this day, we gather with those we love, share prayer, have a picnic or feast, sing, dance, hear speeches, attend educational events or festivals, and dance. But, most importantly, we reflect and remember. Juneteenth is a celebration of achievement to be free from bondage and chains mentally, physically, socially, emotionally, economically, and geographically.

For the past six years, I have been silently walking in my faithfulness, trust, dependence, and boldness of who I am in Christ Jesus. However, I did not know that God set me up to build His Kingdom, especially for the LGBTQ community and ALL people. Our responsibility is to love like God loves us without question or thought; that’s it! Not love to understand but love because as undeserving as we all are, “Yet God loves us unconditionally when He created us." Many of us have to move beyond being comfortable and break chains and soul ties with wombed situations that impede and stunt our growth socially, spiritually, economically, individually, collectively, mentally, and emotionally. Once we break free from spiritual slavery and oppression of "modern-day Pharisee church folk," and what people think or say. There will be no progression. How are you committed to doing your part?
