Story Transcript:

Cy: Mewn lle arbennig o'r enw Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, roedd tri ffrind ar antur.
En: In a special place called Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, there were three friends on an adventure.

Cy: Rhys, Eira, a Gethin oedd eu henwau.
En: Their names were Rhys, Eira, and Gethin.

Cy: Roedd yr haf wedi cyrraedd, gyda'i haul cynnes yn goleuo'r dyffrynnoedd gwyrddlas a phigau mynyddoedd garw yn Eryri.
En: Summer had arrived, with its warm sun illuminating the verdant valleys and rugged mountain peaks in Eryri.

Cy: Rhys, yn llawn cyffro a'r dymuniad i gyrraedd copa'r Wyddfa, dechreuodd y daith gyda phenderfyniad.
En: Rhys, full of excitement and the desire to reach the summit of Yr Wyddfa, began the journey with determination.

Cy: Roedd am brofi i'w hun ei fod yn gallu cyrraedd y copa.
En: He wanted to prove to himself that he could reach the summit.

Cy: Eira, sy’n arbenigwr ar yr ardal a gwybodus am y llwybrau, oedd yn arwain.
En: Eira, an expert on the area and knowledgeable about the trails, was leading the way.

Cy: Ochr yn ochr â hwy roedd Gethin; er ei fod yn ofalus ac wrth ei fodd â diogelwch, roedd yn hapus i fod gyda'i ffrindiau.
En: Alongside them was Gethin; although he was cautious and loved safety, he was happy to be with his friends.

Cy: Wrth iddyn nhw ddechrau dringo, roedd y llwybrau'n wibio tuag i'r awyr.
En: As they began their climb, the paths twisted toward the sky.

Cy: Roedd eu traed yn llithro ar y cerrig mân, ond roedd nhw'n parhau i gerdded.
En: Their feet slipped on the loose stones, but they continued to walk.

Cy: Ond nid oedd popeth yn berl.
En: But not everything was perfect.

Cy: Wrth i'r tri ffrind wella i'r uchder, dechreuodd Rhys deimlo'n isel.
En: As the three friends got higher, Rhys started to feel low.

Cy: Roedd ei ben yn troi a'i synhwyrau'n troi'n llonydd.
En: His head was spinning and his senses were becoming sluggish.

Cy: "Dwi ddim yn teimlo'n dda," meddai Rhys, gan atal am eiliad.
En: “I don’t feel well,” said Rhys, pausing for a moment.

Cy: Sylwodd Eira ac yntau'n dechrau llwydo.
En: Eira noticed him beginning to pale.

Cy: "Mae'n edrych fel altwïwed gamblediga. Mae'n rhaid i ni fod yn ofalus," atebodd hi.
En: “It looks like altitude sickness. We must be careful,” she replied.

Cy: "Sawn i'n ddymuno troi'n ôl," nododd Gethin, yn gwybod y risgiau.
En: “I’d wish to turn back,” noted Gethin, aware of the risks.

Cy: Ond roedd Rhys yn benderfynol.
En: But Rhys was determined.

Cy: Yn ei galon, roedd awydd i barhau, i weld y copa gyda'i lygaid ei hun.
En: In his heart, he had a desire to continue, to see the summit with his own eyes.

Cy: Ond wrth i'r grŵp symud ychydig ymhellach, syrthiodd Rhys ar lawr, ei gorff yn teimlo'n drwm a'i feddwl yn pylu.
En: But as the group moved a bit further, Rhys collapsed to the ground, his body feeling heavy and his mind fading.

Cy: Yn gyflym, rhuthrodd Eira a Gethin ato, gan helpu Rhys i gynnal a gweithio'n galed i ddod â fo i lawr i dir mwy diogel.
En: Quickly, Eira and Gethin rushed to his side, helping Rhys to stand and working hard to bring him down to safer ground.

Cy: "Rydyn ni'n gallu paratoi i fynd eto ryw ddiwrnod, gyda mwy o brofiad," dywedodd Eira yn dyner.
En: “We can prepare to go again another day, with more experience,” Eira said gently.

Cy: Deallodd Rhys, wrth symud yn araf yn ôl i lawr y llwybr, pwysigrwydd gwrando ar ei gorff a bod yn barod.
En: Rhys understood, as he moved slowly back down the path, the importance of listening to his body and being prepared.

Cy: Er ei fod wedi methu â chyrraedd y copa heddiw, roedd e wedi dysgu gwers bwysig.
En: Although he failed to reach the summit today, he learned an important lesson.

Cy: Gyda chymorth ei ffrindiau, roedd yn ddiogel, ac roedd hynny'n bwysicach na dim.
En: With the help of his friends, he was safe, and that was more important than anything.

Cy: A gyda'r mynyddoedd rugged yn gwylio, addawodd edrych ymlaen at y camau nesaf ar ei antur, gyda pharch newydd at yr uchelfannau.
En: And with the rugged mountains watching, he promised to look forward to the next steps in his adventure, with a newfound respect for the heights.
