Rickman provides an introduction to the topic of slavery in Rhode Island and the problematic idea that slavery was a southern problem.

July 8 & 9th mark the return of the Mashantucket Pequot Museum Education Powwow. A living exhibition open to the public which showcases, honors, and explains the important indigenous ceremony.

We spoke with Nakai Clearwater Northup from the museum about the event and all that the museum has to offer. Check out their website for event information, current and upcoming exhibits, and virtual exhibits.
