Stop trying to make the plural of “Wild Child” happen. Annemarie gets her nosed pierced (it only took three years) while Alyssa works out on a trampoline and only almost dies once but gets shown up by a very pregnant woman the whole time.

Alyssa goes speed dating this week and meets someone who may murder her someday, but she gets bagels the next morning so whatever. Annemarie was so inspired by Alyssa's roller derby adventure that this week she tries roller skating and learns that she absolutely hates it.

This week, Annemarie puts it all out there for love. And by “puts it all out there”, we mean watches other people participate in a live dating game show while she judges from the audience. Alyssa learns the rules of roller derby, then heads to the track to watch some kick-ass women skate it out (and to eat concession stand popcorn).  

Alyssa tries to go on a date and fails, so instead she went to look at some old books (but one of those books is made out of human skin, so we still think her story is worth listening to). Annemarie is skeptical about personality tests--you took Psych 101 we get it--but takes the Myers-Briggs and actually maybe learns something.

We had to record this episode three times thanks to some technical malfunctions so you people better enjoy it. Alyssa visits the Church of Christian Science, which is not Tom Cruise's weird church (that's Scientology) but still has some weird stuff going on. Annemarie jumps right in to a sensory deprivation tank and, to no one's surprise, it does not work out like she planned.

Don't tell Alyssa's Catholic grandma, but this week we get our tarot read. We maybe insult JK Rowling (nobody tell her), and Annemarie hears about...her brother's love life?

It took more than a few lost audio files, but we made it to episode one. This week, our activity is...starting a podcast. We talk about how we became friends, how we stayed friends despite living in different cities, and why we decided to start a podcast about trying new things.
