Do the problems of life have more of your focus than planting seeds & operating in the Lords work to reap great harvests? In today’s episode, Associste Pastor T.J. Tyus breaks down the importance of sowing good seeds, practicing Godly habits, and ways to build a relationship with the Lord. Operating in that takes great courage and focus because Satan will try his best to stop you from doing so. Put on the full armor of God daily by immersing yourself in his word followed by actions.
4:01 - In Jeremiah 29:11, God states “For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” God’s ways and thoughts are better than ours. We often want to see his glory without fully submitting. Our focus needs to be in alignment with him.
7:15 - “My overflow is dependent upon my practice.” What habits do you practice on a daily basis? Do the good ones outweigh the bad?
8:30 - How does the conversations and responses to trails reflect your standing with God? Do you still praise despite hardships you currently experience?
12:05 - Your gift that’s sown will return to you in full. His word doesn’t say when, but does guarantee it will. We must add to the seed (doing our part) being sowed before God can multiply it. Remember that tares can be sowed an returned as well.
18:58 - the harvest is ripe and plenty, but the laborers are few. There is no time for murmuring when work needs to be done. With laborers being few, opportunities are presented to receive harvest for doing the work of the kingdom.
