Jesus is always on the move in Mark's telling of the story. In 1:29-39, Jesus gets up really early one morning and goes off to pray alone. The disciples go in search of him, and tell him "everyone is looking for you." So Jesus goes the other way. 

Everyone is looking for Jesus. Jesus is also looking for everyone!

Anxiety isn't new and it doesn't go away when you accept Jesus. But we can learn to throw all our anxiety on God because God cares for us. Then we can share this gift with our neighbors. We can become a gift to our neighbors.

One of the good things anxiety offers is the opportunity to help others who are in the midst of it. One way we do that is by practicing becoming less anxious. Paul gives some pretty good, clear, and simple insight on this in Philippians 4.

An essential part of dealing with, and moving to the other side of, anxiety, is not going through it alone. We need one another!

How do you deal with anxiety?  One way to help yourself, and others, is to breathe. Another is to remember that you are chosen by God.
